I have never played a Hyperdimension Neptunia game before (strictly PC gamer).

Fresh into the series, this game is quite a bit of fun. The combat system is at first confusing, but very unique. They even throw a few random jokes and references at other RPG video games and anime, which is quite appealing if your into those kinds of things.

My only complaints are simply the resolution options. Apparently the game only supports 900p in windowed mode, and can only go up to 1080p in fullscreen mode (scaled to your 1080p monitor). This is probably an easy fix though.

When I boot up this game, many of my friends call me a creeper, a weirdo... and some even call me a nerd without a girlfriend, and one even called me a weeaboo freak. When I look at the cute neko girl faces in this visual novel, I don't care what my friends call me.

As a visual novel, Nekopara is just a game you play for the story. Listening and/or reading dialogue, and seeing the characters animate (which they animate pretty well). This game is pretty short, and could be completed in about 4 hours on autopilot.

There is an 18+ version/patch available not on Steam, if you would like to see cutscenes involving intimacy with the neko girls (I personally have it).

Is it worth the $10? I personally enjoy anime/manga, so a visual novel of this quality is actually fine for $10 in my opinion. Is the 18+ version worth $20? Well, I'll admit it's the first time I've seen an 18+ visual novel with animated scenes, but uh... no comment...

Very well optimized.

I was attacked by crazy guys with flamethrowers, bomb enthusiasts, the Yakuza, Swat teams, Helicopters with heat-seeking missiles, Tanks, and some crazy man with a revolver...

... just for spraypainting.

Congratulations, you just took over the city with public transportation, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Jokes aside, this game is my "I'm bored, What do I mindlessly do for the next 1~3 hours?" game.
