I find it crazy that it takes about 500 hours to receive your first heirloom while also not being able to buy one from a store directly with real currency like in other, similar games. The only way to do that is wait for a beautiful and beloved collection event where the minimum amount is about $360 for ONE heirloom. That or 500 hours + every battlepass completed for you to be able to get a single one. Aside that, there's no 'try out' button to be able to try each and every one and then chose the one you like the most. Of course there is not. It's also nuts to pay $360 for one heirloom and not be able to sell it back like in CSGO, TF2 or similar games.

The player matchmaking is also just insane. Even as an above average gamer, you will win one game every a hundred with randoms which is a crazy ratio. In most of which you won't even get to top 10 due to how terrible the ranking system is and it pairing you up against elite players with 4000 hours while you barely just started gripping the basics at 40.

It's a fun little game and it's especially worth it on a sale.

The amount of replay value is insane.

I have played the game previously. The ironic thing is, at that time the version of the game did not have any Ubisoft play update to mess things up. Because of some form of coding and the game being made by Ubisoft, AC1 is literally borderline unplayable without your internet being disabled. Which I don't like and I shouldn't be supposed to play any game like this be it offline or not.

What happens is, your game freezes almost every minute. The freeze is not a 'nice' one neither. It freezes for 15 seconds while it tries to reconnect to a server. The game literally stops but the audio keeps going ( this will mostly happen in cutscenes as you boot the game up the first time ) and THEN the gameplay catches up with zero audio. So you hear the characters speak while the game is frozen then stare at them for 30s while they mimic what you just heard.

Although this issue can be fixed by manually going trough a bunch of files and disabling some random update to an offline server, that did not work for me and I shouldn't pay money for such an experience.

Without this though, the game is 'fine' although you won't want a second playtrough due to how slow parkour is ( and general gameplay + story telling ) and how tedious the gameplay is but it's old so it's quite weird to 'complain' about things like these. It's like saying donkey kong has terrible graphics.

Either way, fix your game Ubisoft. I'm tired of greedy trash.

I don't like how slow the progression system is. You REALLY need to wait the more you progress. To the point of waiting 8 hours for one simple upgrade.

It could simply not be for me. If you're playing it alone it will be super boring. The progression system is intentionally dragged out a lot trying to make it feel like there's a lot of content in the game. It takes a huge amount of hours to get past the basic gear era and by then you're quite bored. Another thing is, you're supposed to make huge bases. But I'm a compact person and I'd like my base to simply be a 4x4 with low walls and a rooftop. But whops! "Workbench is too exposed. Bed is too exposed.", great. Let me go back to hunting deer, I only need 30 for the next meaningless item on the progression system.

Also, the game sucks. The core game play is lame, lacking features or an enjoyable game play loop. You want to rob 113? Nice. You either spend about 10 whole minutes learning their full routine or you get money from the same house you robbed 15 times to buy their schedule. This feels more like an early access rather than a fully fledged out game.

The NPC's suck. They feel robotic and very poorly executed. This game comes from a developer/publisher what thinks like this: "We finalised this asset flip game what's in an early access state, let's launch it for $20!". I bought this game on steam even though I already own it on console to complain about the lack of features. Yes, this game exists on console too. It's poorly ported with 30FPS lock and an horrible amount of jank. Do not buy this, you will get 50 minutes of playtime at best.
