Great little base defence game. Spend your money on a mix of economic and military buildings during the day then defend your base at night. Any economic buildings that survive the night give you more money to buy more buildings and upgrade them. Rinse and repeat. There's a good amount of levels and also lots of different perks and difficulty mutators that change how the enemies behave giving lots of replayability. Perfect for the Steam Deck too.

Fantastic game, and cheap as chips. However once you unlock enough stuff and work out the formula needed to beat Red Death there isn't much challenge to it, but it's still fun to try out any new stuff you unlocking, of which there is lots. I now only come back to it now to grab any new achievements etc as they're added to the game but it took me about 50 hours to reach that point. Well worth the handful of quid I paid for it.

I love this game. It’s the only game I consistently come back to. At the time of writing I’ve clocked nearly 300 hours of playtime and I’m still not bored of it. Not even touched mods yet. Great game, well worth the very little money I paid for it.

Update for the Space Age DLC: Now even better! The Factory must grow!
