It is what it says it is. A remaster. its not Darksouls in ds3 form. its the exact same game we all love. with enhanced graphics, minor tweaking to system (easy covenant switching, etc) and a smooth 60FPS, some added bloom and such. With the 50% off price tag for owner of Prepare to die Edition (19.99USD/26.60AUD) it is worth the price.

Don't listen to most negative reviews. some have valid points but still dont take in mind it is nothign mroe than a remaster, not an enhanced edtion or a remake. But the people who spout that this is pretty much what DSfix does then I recomend you actualy go and play Prepare to die Edition because after flogging some hours into that over the last months and jumping stright into this. It is a lot more of an improvment than anytihn DSfix could do.

The complaints made about hackers and pvp are valid i suppose but after playing on local in australia I have come across no hackers so far. have engaged in Jolly Co-operation and have had a Great pvp experience so far. So for aussies it seems we have less ♥♥♥♥ head hackers around which is thankful. though i suppose the player base in australia is a lot less than somewhere like america.

10/10 great remake. good pvp (atleast in my region).
