4$ for a DLC vehicle.

Impressive and well worked out, with care and passsion for the Game and its Players.

A shining Beacon of hope and pride for its Nische.

Undeserving of its hate. Alone for the fact that this port is the foundation for many big things in the Half-Life community, be it small things, like garrys mod assets or big things, like "Freeman's Mind" and "hlvrai".

Also, Valve Unlisting one of there own games on Steam ? This just opened Pandoras Box right there. Its practicly a soft remove from steam. This might be the start of one of Valves biggest mistakes.

The only game that made me grow as a person as much as the character i played.

Dropped in the game, got greated with 30 FPS on max settings. And that with a Radeon 6900 XT. Yea, nah, just like with the original i gona wait 2-3 grafics card generations before i try to actually "Play" this game. Currently, its just a techdemo, as everything crytek every has done. Refunding now.

I buyed the ultimate edition and got greeted with a horrible sound quality. It looks like the game has serious problems with 7.1 and 5.1 sound systems. Real speaker setups and emulation headsets alike.
After seeing that the sound options don´t have any technical usefull options at all, that the game is locked to 60FPS and the crazy amount of problems reported by other people, i don´t think this game is worth 60€. Let alone 100€

Its simply Need For Speed Hot Pursuit with "Console Version Exclusive" Cars, that should have been available for the base game.

Some grafic improvements, who are so minor you barely notic them in a side-by-side comparisen with the original.

A bump from 30 to 60 frames per second, instead of lifting this restriction, what is horrible for racing games in general.

Some extra gimmics like a Color Picker and Wraps/Vinyles.
Sounds nice ? Maybe, people liked this game because it goes along with the first NFS games. Focusing on high speed police chases with exotic cars, not "tuning" your car to look fancy.

Cross-Play, so Pc and Console can play together with others, if they have the remastered version.

And all of this for 30€, will the original was sold for 5€, who is now pulled from the Steam Store. So you can only by this "Remaster" and this is what ultimatly kills it. If it would have been a free update for the original it would have been fine.



TLDR: This is a Cash Grab, nothing else. There is no remaster, i saw free updates and fanpatches with more substance than this so called "remaster".

By the way, if you ever asked yourself how it looks like when todays videogame development goes right, then this a is a perfect example.
Ace Combat 7 is a core Ace Combat game with hearth and soul intact, made with todays technologie, knowledge and technics.

Its a prime example on how to do games today and is a archetype example on how to naturally evolve a videogame series.

Fun Fact: After making a typical "trends following" soulless Ace Combat game and a "Free-To-Play" aka Pay-To-Win/Progress Ace Combat game, they actualy ditched it all and made this true Masterpiece of an Ace Combat game.
Alone for that they deserve respect, if you ask me.

A really good spinoff based on XCOM 2. Story wise, i would recommend to play XCOM 2 first.

I´m at a lose for words.

One of the best games ever made AND one of the best Remasters ever made.

If you like old school RTS, give it a try.

A nice and dirty derby game that let´s you drive and crash your way to victory with the best jury rigged junkyard contructions from around the world.

Pros: Lots of options, tracks and cars. Plus great realism on the cars physics and damage model. Not to arcade to lack depth, yet not to realistic to kill the fun with complexity and frustrating/tedious elements.


Cons: Grafics can be very hungry and unstable.Will looking at an empty track might give you 100 fps, takeing a look back at some 20 other cars on the same track, might kill your framerate down under 30 fps.

Also, some managment/executive/(Greedy moneybag that has no idea what an videogame even is and doesn´t truly care as long as it makes money) had the great idea and add an typical Free-To-Play grinding experience to the game.

Its called Challenge mode.

Sadly most of the gamecontent, that is added these days is only optainable throught that.
Though it can be safely ignored.
