New expansion broke the game so badly that even if you don't own it all aspects of the game are made worse by the myriad of bugs, convoluted ui features and poorly implemented changes and features to the over all generation of planets.

Frontier essentially charged full price for an expansion that they must have known was entirely broken, or failed completely at the entire testing process every step of the way. Again this won't just affect you if you own the newest expansion -
(which only just recently at the time of this review fixed doing land missions with friends - one of the MAIN features that was advertised prior to the expansions launch)
-but the sheer lack of effort or malicious milking of the long term fans for one final cash grab negatively impacts all players and while it might not ruin the otherwise amazing (base) game, it's hard to ignore both the negative implications for the game as it stands, but for the game in the future (if it has one, feeling like the latest expansion was a rushed final cash grab before they abandon the game)

Just started, seems all right. Will give proper review on the 2000th hour.

Don't buy on steam. Will be removed soon and it may not be possible to buy dlc on here, or make use of purchases.
You may have to use the epic store to play this game, which as we all know is rubbish.
