One of the great things about this for me is how well each of the gameplay mechanics is introduced to you at JUST the right pacing, without needing to spend to much time to digest the information.

The cutscenes and characters are memorable and charming. Nothing too intricate but enough to keep things interesting and then some. got some chuckles out of some situations and characters, too.

This indie game has a good variation of things to do, but not TOO much to do, and it all blends nicely into a balanced way to enjoy everything that's offered. You can dive, farm, plant, even go on a stealth mission. some of it is a gimmicky but doesn't pose a problem in gameplay.

Trying to think of any frustrations I can only think of minor things like how the game is capped at 60FPS (The physics 50, which causes physics micro-jitter on 60) but honestly it's such a small problem it doesn't really matter.

P.S anyone who owns a Steam Deck, this is the quintessential game for it.

An MMO that respects your time and serves you a fantastic Main Story. Great social aspect if you're into that kind of thing. Made some great friends and have become part of a unique community.

If you're looking for something to play in the long-term, I'm a little sceptical about how future gameplay will be innovative and introduce new things (the engine is starting to show its age), but with how the game has gone from 2.0 to 6.0, I'm optimistic this has been a great investment for money and time.

Good with friends of various platforms thanks to the cross-platform integration. Bit pricey despite being one of the older titles but worth it if your friend circle commits.

Phenomenal - what a perfectly orchestrated game. Amazing story and narrative, so many paths and variables to choose from. Superb character development to boot.

Gameplay is intuitive, and adapts D&D to a video game exceptionally well. Handful of minor bugs in combat and such you might stumble into at the time I write this, but it's nothing compared to what this game offers. Larian cares for this game and it shows.

Play this. Get invested. Enjoy the amazingly-crafted characters. Savour the story that you forge in this.

Even if you don't have experience in D&D, or if you're on the fence on getting this game - GET IT. It's an experience that other game devs will not be able to offer today.

What it lacks for in gameplay duration, it makes up for in gameplay mechanics. Dodging/bashing can be a challenge to master but is super-rewarding when you practice and eventually master it.

If you're a fan of the OG RE3 - you'll notice some parts of the story are missing in comparison; but brilliant cinematic, engaging soundtrack and epic combat makes up for this. Definitely worth getting.

If you're wanting to 100% this, it shouldn't take as long as RE2.

Amazing detail for graphics, tight engine mechanics, and a fantastic re-iteration of the classic RE4 with more fleshed out story and characters. Even if you haven't played the OG, you're gonna love this.

This game runs on the same, but tweaked Gamebryo engine of Fallout 3, and while some bits such as iron sights + camera improvements have been made, is still clunky for general gameplay and combat.

To start, the pros are character development, world-building, amazing dialogue and lore that stems off of Interplays Fallout 1 and 2, Interplay devs -as part of Obsidian- worked on this and have a good taste of the Fallout universe. This is a 3D Fallout game that actually feels like an RPG, and has tangible factions, consequences and endings. Improvements were made from Fallout 3's fundamentals.

Cons would be general clunkiness when it comes to combat - bugs of all kinds including crashes, quest bugs, AI glitches, etc., might be a hassle to get running and install mods to get ideal stability too.

If you want to go through the hassle of tweaking configs and such to get the game running and enjoy a good open world FPS with good writing and dialogue, this is one to get.

This was one of the most anticipating game releases for me, and was great to see Fallout play on a new(?) engine.

Starting with the pros, gunplay was massively improved from the Gamebryo Fallout games and combat feels better, gamepmay fundamentals don't feel clunky and stapled it. The soundtrack, worldbuilding, lore and environment and aesthetics are the best things about this game.

On the other hand the writing/dialogue, player-character development and story are overall rather linear and don't mean much - there's different ways to approach some quests and there's different endings but it doesn't feel like there's much consequences or changes based in your decisions. It's almost like an FPS with a large amount of world-building, exploring and RPG elements.

Overall it's a staple on modern FPS and well worth the price it is today. Brilliant mod support too.

10/10 - Valve hit the bulls-eye on coming back to Half-Life and coming up with a an exciting and original experience. Nothing in the current day could make this any better.
