The music was what I initially added this game to my wish list for.
The reason this was a game is why I decided to buy it yesterday.
The kind words I could send, and the kind words I have received are why I spend so much time in the game, and why I am reviewing this right now.

I love being able to care, and this game allows me to care about others, even if we may never meet or speak again, I am able to reach out. The requests I have sent have been responded to with warm, caring words. I feel noticed, and anonymously cared for. I may not solve my problems, but I do feel relaxed, and better suited to take them on when I am ready.

The paper planes that fly into my room are always a joy to read, and I love sending them back out. Sometime they are so well timed too. Sometimes there are very meaningful things to read or say, and sometimes it's just nice to know there is another person there.

The entire feel and style of this game is perfect. And I have even left the game on for the music to do work. Then maybe take break from that work to read the mail in the game, and send a few positive words back out into the world.

Treat yourself to this lovely little game.

Okay there is a reason I am reviewing this as a "No". I will get into my reasoning, but I will first start with what was good about this game.

I only had the one play-through for this game, but it was all I needed to see that this game had so much potential. I could not tell until I saw the end credits that this game was done by students for a project I guess and it is awesome what you guys have done still. The music was beautiful and gave me shivers and got me in the right mood, it really helped make certain times of the game spookier. The art was unique and had character that matched the feel of the game, I was stunned by the overall look and feel from my initial experience. The story was simple enough to understand but with enough mystery and intrigue of lore I was not very familiar with to keep me interested into solving the disappearances as well as the town's strange history. I do not know many games that talk about 'fae' like this, maybe there are plenty and I just don't know, or there aren't many mainstream ones that pop out to me, but it was refreshing to have a mystery that focused on this mythology. The puzzles had diversity but I could understand them well enough so I would not get stuck on them, and that's always a plus for me.

Now for why I am reviewing this game negatively. If you are like me and will get disappointed by a game that you see has obvious potential to be more and do more, this game is one of those that has the foundation for an amazing short mystery game, but maybe not this short. It was disappointing to finish this game and feel like there was more planned but it was all cut short to make deadlines, and maybe that is true and I am still amazed and impressed by this project, but if they could have come back to the game afterwards to really flesh out the game better, this would just blow me away for sure. All of the positives I listed above really laid the ground work for a game that could have had more depth to the story and to the game play itself. I felt that the characters were given quite a bit of thought to be unique and memorable, however it felt that they could not be elaborated or showcased further than the few lines of dialogue or scenes that would show off who they are and add layers to the story. The game introduced obstacles that seemed to either be not even a problem at all, or went unused. There was this random piece of text that didn't match any of the other font styles and it detracted from the immersion when everything is in 'handwriting-like' font and then this text in the center of all of the others is in Arial font.

I am not saying the game ending the way it did is anywhere wrong, as it makes a lot of sense, but to really have that wow-factor at the absolute max, giving the game a little more game time, more interaction of the characters and environment that was thoughtfully set up for the player to get wrapped up in would have made the experience all the more memorable and impactful. It even felt that there might be alternate endings, but as far as I know there are not from reading other peoples' experiences. In the end because I feel that this amazing concept, art, music, overall game was not given everything it needs to succeed, it just left a bitter taste in my mouth, and upset that the potential felt wasted.

If this won't bother you, it is a game worth playing when you have an hour or so to spare.

I have a tendency to get games and leave them sitting around in my library for awhile. It was actually a Markiplier video about 'Blush Blush' that got me off of my butt to finally start playing this game, just for fun... as all games should be. I am already 21 hours into playing this and I feel that it is time to leave my review (some hours accidentally clocked because I left the game open when I would go do some chores or something even though leaving the game isn't necessary to receive the rewards).

I personally enjoy idle/clicker games, I have quite a few on Steam and a few on my phone, and I can easily get lost in getting as far as I can in one sitting before I AFK and come back to awesome rewards. But that can get boring quickly right? But for 'Blush Blush' I have to admit it fits my requirements to get accidentally addicted to checking in regularly. I love dating games and visual novels, but with a busy schedule it can be hard for me to make time to binge play those types of games like I would like, but this takes the ideas of dating games and an idle-clicker game and it satisfies my need to click and idle as well as date around through different characters. This combination is beautiful.

There is actually a bit of voice acting, and the art for each character and a silly yet fun reason to have 'manimals' made it easy to stick around and level up through each character. I actually like the use of time blocks to prioritize going on dates, making money with certain jobs, and the leveling up of hobbies to unlock the characters or other jobs available. There are a lot of in-game achievements that really satisfy my nee d to succeed. This game can hold my attention for the right amount of time before I exit out to stock pile my rewards. There is also these limited time events they have been offering and I am all about limited time events and staying on top of that.

In short, it's so easy for me to come back and play, it did everything right for me to get addicted to it. It's such a silly concept but I love silly, and as long as I am having fun and continue to play, does it really matter? I would love to find more games like this, maybe it doesn't make sense to say but I can only describe it as a game with a little more to do before you idle. I don't know if it makes sense, but as long as what you got from this review is that I have accidentally spent 21 hours playing and will probably double that by the end of the week, then it's all gooooood. Have fun turning all these animals back into men because it's quite the sight to see (and hear thank the heavens for voice acting).

Taking care of a farm, owning animals, finding love, and restoring a town to it's lively glory? How could I not enjoy this game? There are plenty of characters to meet and learn about, as well as different mini-games and side features to the game to get into. It's a casual game with enough going on that it is not just about farming, when honestly that only takes a short amount of time of every day in the game. There are options to have romantic relations with same and opposite sex which is a nice inclusion. There are levels of friendship with the characters and some that even have to be unlocked. I find it simple and fun. A great pass time without too much strain on my brain. It's very cute and a nice soundtrack.

Viridi is relaxing and casual, I am not the best at taking care of plants in the real world except a few basically hassle free ones, but this has calming music, different pot designs and plans I would be too poor to own anyway. I am able to take care of these digital plants without much worry and can always take a break from the real world for a quick second to de-stress. Sometimes I even let the background music play while I do work. There is something very freeing about letting plants go once they have fully grown into adulthood to make space for more seedlings. I recommend even just to play every once in awhile.

Sims is just always fun, I enjoy games where you just have control over a life you create whether it is realistic or not. It's casual but addicting. I can get very distracted by different features, or customizing characters or houses and get caught up in it.
