Finally, a game that appeals to my very specific interests.

If this game doesn't win Game of the Year 2025 I am becoming a terrorist.

Imperfect, but super fun.

- Needs a mini-map.

- Also let us run duos FFS.

- Sitting down for an expedition is typically a 50 minute time investment, if you don't have that time to spend you're better off playing something else.

Those nitpicks being said, if you can accept the game for what it is, instead of hating it for what it's not, and you like souls-likes, and you like rogue-likes, you will like this. There's a character for pretty much every play-style.

Cannot recommend this game strongly enough. I do not exaggerate when I say this is a near perfect game.

I think Halo is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills aleins and doesnt afraid of anything.

If you like the themes explored in The Stanley Parable as well as in The Beginner's Guide, please please play this. I've never played a game that made me feel so at it's own mercy. At times my heart was beating out of my chest, just from some simple text on a screen. It's a game that is brave enough to mock it's own existence, and you for wanting to play it. Davey's writing consistently invites us to think about games as a medium in ways that many of us are rarely inclined to do. This is the crown jewel of walking simulators.

The game is fun. If it's not fun why bother?
