Note: This review reflects my opinion when I stopped playing the game around 2019. It might not actually reflect the current state of the game.

Loved the story and the general concept of it but what really turned me off was the "lack of content" so to speak. By this I don't mean events since I never cared about the events in this game in the first place.

What I do mean is the lack of quests till the end game. Say you reached level 15. They'll force you to level up till 20 to progress the story. Then at level 20, you'll have 1 or 2 quests then again, you have to level up till level 25 to progress the main storyline and so on, so forth. I don't know how this practice is called. I guesss "quest gating", maybe? Anyway, it's really annoying and disrupting. There should be a constant flow of main quests and side-quests (why not?) till the end-game, where you aren't forced to level up to progress the main story.

If it wasn't for this I would had much more hours under my belt.
Unfortunately it is what it is and me personally I can't give it a positive review but that shouldn't distract you from at least trying the game for yourself.

Oof, I really don't know from where to even start with this one. Hard for me to talk about games that I actually love.

Probably the only comparable game to this would be Warframe in terms of visuals and music.
I'll start with pros and cons as ussual:

Prons:
- You don't need to make another sccount to play this game online, like other online games does. You just need your Steam account (or other accounts such as PS4 or Xbox if you're playing on those).

- You can make your own character. And as far as I remember, since I stopped playing this game for personal reasons, the character creation is pretty good and detailed.

- Shiny costumes (Do I really need to say more?)

- Lots of content even for F2P player (well at the time when I played the game)

- Locations are just breathing, they really are beautiful

- Weapons and shooting feels right

- Really good PvP (one of the few best ones out there in a MMO)

- Community is super friendly (seriously, I never met one single toxic player).

- Really good main story and quests

- It's just fun to explore and do stuff togheder with friends. The game is best if you actually play it with close friends.

- The game doesn't feel like it's P2W.

- The game never push you or shove in your face, the micro-transactions.


Cons:
- The game is HUGE when we are talking about the space occupied on hard disk (over 100 GBs).

- Even if you do take it slow, you'll eventually become bored of the same content so the game pretty much expects you to buy the expansion packs (that's why the game is F2P in the first place).

- Sometimes you might feel lost for certain things so you'd have to consult the Wiki.

- Some content is vaulted and we don't know when they will re-release it for the community.

Conclusion:
If open space locations, looter shooter, FPS, shiny costumes are your thang, then this is the game for you. If you played Warframe and liked it, then this is the second best thing next to it.
The game is just awesome! Go try it and have fun!

It's ok, I guess.

Probably the only Karen who doesn't talk to the manager.

No keyboard support and they say absolutley nowhere in the Steam`s game description.
I`m perfectly fine with you guys offering full support for controller, Xbox or PS, but c`mon, you`re releasing a game ON STEAM, where the majority of people are playing with mouse and keyboard!

Game`s graphics look blury.

Combat is awful and inconsistent, sometimes hits are registered and most of the time are not.
Therefore I literally die to the first enemies of the game.
Is beyond my understanding how some people actually finished this game.

Just avoid this game.

There is no review. Yeah, I just wasted 1 minute of your life.

The game is not bad but it would have been a masterpiece if it would had better gameplay: platforming, gun combat, melee combat, duel mechanics, stealth, horse controls and maybe even a better health system.

It does however, have an ok story, believable characters, really good voice acting and a lot of charm.

Can I recommend this game?
I really can`t say. If you like western stories/settings and you can overlook or don`t really mind the somewhat terrible gameplay, then you should go for it. Otherwise, you better pass it.

Prons:
~ The atmosphere is really dark/gothic and I really like it.
~ Great voice acting.
~ Great character/level design.

Cons:
~ Game is 2.5D like with a fixed camera so you will definitelly misjudge some jumps or when it comes to dodging certain boss mechanics.
~ The character doesn`t have a stickiness when grabing ledges. You actually have to double jump to grab them. (That`s what I did, at least.)
~ Combat is clunky
~ You will unlock certain combos but to be honest only the AOE smash one is actually usefull.
~ Enemies, no matter the type, does way more damage than they should have.
~ No way to parry, block or dodge attacks. (Unless you consider jumping over enemies as dodging)
~ Some platforming levels are really terrible. (I am looking at you, Forest)
~ The story is not clearly told or it`s confusing.
~ There is no way to regenerate health in combat except for eating apples during the boss fights.
~ There`s a bug which prevents you from progressing ( After you defeat the Big Rat boss the gate will actually close instead of opening. )
~ The final boss battle is just terrible:

Spoilers ahead!

He will attack Granny with four of his wolves, which you have to protect her from. They will drop apples and blue mana which you will have to pick up if you are hurt, then Woolfe will proceed to entrap Granny and attack you.
He can attack you with both his sword and lightning strikes that can run on the field.
You have make him attack so you can avoid it and then right away attack him.
The lightning attack is almost a one hit kill. I say almost because it`s not consistent. Sometimes you instantly die from it and other time you survive.
You have to manage to remain full health or almost full health since after you damage the boss at 40% health he will dissapear and summon again the wolves which they will aggro you instead of Granny and if you`re low on health, you`re f**ked.
Before second stage Granny will teach you a Claw attack (for some reason) and they boss will also summon dark claws from the ground, besides the lightning attack. If a claw grabs you, the boss will attack you and it`s instant death.
And no, the Claw attack doesn`t break you free from the boss`s Claw Grab. I have tried that.
After this stage, the boss will again summon the wolves and since you are low on health, at this point you will be as good as dead.
I don`t know what happens at the 3rd stage since I can never pass the 3rd wave of wolves.
They always do alot of damage.
Besides the wolves, there`s also no way to recover health in the boss battle.

Since the final boss battle is so terrible (as you saw or not, by playing the game or just reading the description of it) and since I tried so many times to actually finish it, I just gave up on it.
There is absolutley no point in wasting time with an unfair and unbalanced boss battle.

Game could had potential but never reached it, either by not enough play-testing or devs just rushing it and not giving enough attention.

This is one if those games where everything is really great until you meet a boss where you die like 10 or 20 times.
I`m talking of course about the final boss where at the second stage it kills you before you reach the anti-aircraft guns to kill off the blimps and especially at the 3rd stage where on normal or higher difficulty the boss becomes literally a bullet sponge and where the longer it takes you to finish him off the harder it will be for you to kill him because the enviroment literally becomes your enemy.
On normal difficulty the boss DOESN`T F**KING DIE from 20 rockets and all of my shotgun ammo,
It`s bloody ridiculous!!!

I literally toned down the difficulty to the easiest mode because I was tired of dying over and over again on the same freaking boss and I just wanted to finish the game.
It`s worth mentioning that on that difficulty it took me just 4 rockets to finish off the boss.
Now compare that to the normal difficulty!!!

This boss just left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
And it`s such a pitty since, like I said in the beginning the game is really awesome and it just hooks you up until the end where it slaps your face with this ridiculous boss fight.

You can play it but if a game is not great from start to finish, I just can`t leave a positive review.
I just can`t.

~ Janky camera
~ Wierd 3rd person perspective when jumping, it looks like I am 5 meters away from my character
~ Annoying jumping sound FX
~ Wall-jumping simply doesn`t work in this game
~ Motion blur
~ On Steam page it says that you need 16 GBs space storage but the game is actually 560 MBs.

Do yourself a favour and avoid the game. It`s not worth playing.

I ussually love superhero games and I would also love this one if it weren`t for the fact that, like other reviewer said the devs basically doesn`t let you enjoy this game at your own pace.
To pass levels you`re OBLIGED to get a certain grade, ussually it`s C but that "C" grade requires a really great ammount of points to get. So basically you`re forced to try to do combos on enemies, which implies that you should hit the enemy trying to launch it into a wall so it can go into air and then hit it airbone. You also get points for rescuing people (which funny enough its also a pain because they have a limited ammount of time to rescue before they flee the level, so there it goes your 500 points) and for not losing health/getting hit by the enemies.
What I am trying to say is that forcing people to get points just to be able to unlock the boss and progressing to the next one simply SUCKS!

Otherwise, the game would be fine.
It has beautiful artstyle, ok voice acting and solid gameplay in general.
It doesn`t have mouse support and the keys doesn`t make a lot of sense (WASD for moving, J to attack, K to dash and L for special attack).

Luckily I bought the game for less than 50 eurocents so it`s not a big deal.
But for the fact that the game limits your progressing until you reach a certain score (which by the way, doesn`t even tell you the target score at least) and for the fact that normally this game is 15 Euro, I just can`t recommend this game.
I would gladly give a mixed review score but Steam doesn`t allow that.
