I started with Sonic Generations in this as I beat and loved the original one, and let me tell you once I got passed the first level, I immediately had to close the game and boot up the old one. Why? Because it does NOT look like a remaster at all. Here's all the changes I noticed :
-Slightly brighter and maybe more colorful graphics
-No separate configuration tool for graphics and input, it can be done from the main menu
-Some buttons changed, in OG X on controller would charge dash, here its the RT.
-Omachao popped up more for tutorials

Here's what I noticed was the exact same, disappointingly
-Same exact graphic options
-Same exact textures, grass and everything looks like crap
-Still locked to 60 FPS
-No ultra wide screen support, although the original ACTUALLY stretches the game which could be fixed with flawless widescreen, here it's locked to 16:9 with letter boxing
-Nearly everything is the same, nothing's been updated to make you say "Wow, I really notice the changes!

Now as for Shadow Generations...
This actually has better graphic options, including 120 fps and better anti-aliasing options. The game looked great and how I would expect a game from 202X to look. I just did the first level and it was very faithful to the OG games, with some twists and such that change everything up.

Online it states that with BOTH campaigns, this should be about 15-20 hours of game play. Looking up how long to beat Sonic Generations states around 5 hours give or take. Hopefully that means Shadow Generations is a longer, full fledged game.

Played with an old co-worker and his buddy, took about 5 hours to beat the game on beginner. Haven't laughed this hard in a long, long time.

♥♥♥♥ my co-worker and his buddy.

10/10 game.

Next gen update completely broke this game. For the first time, I'm trying to play without mods and I can't get very far without extreme freezes, stuttering, long loading, etc all on an SSD. This was never like this before, its unacceptable. They did a very poor job implementing ultra-widescreen support as well.

I've been playing Overwatch since the first game came out, and holy crap is it bad now.

Blizzard has taken so many things away from us it's not even funny. Groups of friends have been dis-abandoned after they removed the 6th slot from each team, causing one friend to feel left out.

They've completely destroyed the identity of a few characters for no real reason or thought, like Doomfist having an ult that's basically 1/3rd the power of Bastions new ult, and Bastions new ult is arguably worse than his old ult. Sombra has had her whole identity stripped and cut down, now having her more of a support offensive assassin who's hacking no longer disables enemies in a meaningful way, but just makes them take more damage temporarily. They gave her ability to disable enemies to Cassidy. Nearly ALL the characters they have introduced in Overwatch 2 are more powerful than the Overwatch 1 roster, but they're all technically not free to play, making the game pay to win, in a sense.

They removed many good maps and got rid double control points, then took SEVEN seasons to finally add a map worth playing on. They've recently added harsher penalties for leaving, not because people were raging, but because people CONSISTENTLY left the game after waiting in a 5 minute queue, just to be put into one of their new maps/game modes, Push. It is so awful and now they will ban you for playing for up to 30 minutes for continuously leaving.

Cosmetics are now paid for, and are RIDICULOUSLY expensive for what they are. To this day from Overwatch 1, they still give you a menu for custom weapon skins and the only one ever provided is the Golden Weapon that you need to play ranked to earn. With each Season that has passed, the mythic skins from the battle passes has gotten progressively lazier. The current mythic skin from the battle pass has almost NO Customization options.

They deleted Overwatch 1 with the promise that they were going to make a new, better game that had PvE options and tons of customization like ability upgrades. The closest we ever got to that was on April Fools, then they announced they were breaking that promise because they couldn't deliver on it. Then we got the current, temporary game mode for Halloween that shows they still try to work on it but basically promise it'll never happen in a meaningful game mode.

They started taking away players rights to free speech, if you even criticize or write "♥♥♥♥ Blizzard" in chat, you're well on your way to getting silenced or banned for 2 weeks.

Smurf accounts are on rampage now because they've made the game free to play, making it extremely unfair to players who actually bought the game long ago. They have not compensated the players who paid full price for the game in anyway. They have not refunded customers for the preorder package for Overwatch 2, even thought it was 40$ and ALL they gave was 2 skins, which are now currently in their shop for basically free.

I could go on and on on how messed up this game has become, but the sad reality is the fact that the game has the same problem as Youtube at the moment, which is there's no REAL contender or alternative to this type of game, leaving the player base stuck with the sad amount of changes they constantly make.

This game will die the MOMENT someone develops a new, better game.

Overwatch 2 has lost vision completely, and only exists to appeal to the people can afford the thought process of "if I buy this skin, people will think I'm cool!"

Truly a great game. I was concerned it was starting to lose substance and content around chapter 4-5, but I'm happy to say that it did not and continued to draw me in with it's captivating evolving mechanics until I reached the final boss of the game. I'm upset that it feels like I don't have a reason to play anymore, but for being a game that took 33 hours of my time, it's fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

It has influence from games like Maplestory, as Nexon of Korea helped published/make it.

Yeah, it's fun. I've only played multiplayer, and I enjoy running around no-respawn modes stabbing people, but eventually you get tired of the crashes/freezing, and you soon don't feel like going through the effort of trying to rejoin your party, losing out on your progress during the match. Tonight I hopped on to play with my friends, got half way through invasion before crashing, and said, "I'm not going through this whole rigmarole again."

This is affecting others too, including those on PS4/PS5. Fix your game already

Early Access Review
This is a type of game that I'd like to see more from. I like to think of it as a MoBa but PVE. You start in a world with randomly placed items and enemies. You beat enemies, get money, use money to open crates and get random items. There's probably about 50 or so different types of items, and they have stacking effects. Each game can last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour or more. It's very fun to see how you start, slow and simple, to about 40 minutes in where you're moving unbelieveably fast, damage counters are stacking up like high level MMOs do in boss runs, and you can barely make sense of what's going on on the screen.

This is a game that's all about the gameplay. Content wise, there's still not much but the game is still in development. There's about 6 different worlds or so that you rotate from. After playing for over 5 hours or so, it gets a little repetitive.

My only complaint is that I wish there was a way for team mates to come back to life during matches. Currently, if someone dies, they have to wait until everyone teleports to the next map. It can make things very difficult sometimes, especially since sometimes you die for seemingly no reason. Also, the Character with the sword needs an overhaul. He feels wayyy to weak compared to other characters, especially since there's so much flying enemies. He falls short compared to every other character who can attack from a distance, where he has to get close and isn't much stronger than everyone else in the first place.

Otherwise, I can't wait to see more content come out from the developers. 9/10 would recommend.

It's a Fun, visual-gasm version of Asteroids, featuring your own music!
