Absolutely worth the $80 although I got it on sale. If you are a sucker for great rpg elements in a single player game, while also loving a good story? This game is right for you. Has so much depth and options that you will be immediately replaying it and trying different ways to do things.

Probably the closest thing to CoD that you're going to get. If you're looking for a traditional shooter this isn't it. People fly around corners hip firing with out a care in the world. Guns aren't balanced as of writing this. Snipers just take over the game in a matter of seconds I wouldn't even bother trying to use an AR.

Early Access Review
This game just has you through a rollercoaster of emotions while playing, though at the end if the day I love it. Yes EAC is kind of stupid but in the future Hi-Rez could release an update with a better Anti-Cheat but its a small price to pay. Now for gameplay it is really solid and brings good competition to the hero shooter genre. I played this before Overwatch because it was free and was really fun and enjoyable, although after purchasing OW I saw myself not playing it as often and decided to uninstall it. Big mistake. OW is a good game dont get me wrong, but I personally didn't enjoy it. The community is bad, a lot of the Heroes have broken and bugged abilites and it didn't seem like I had anything to work towards. With Paladins you have so much to look forward to, you have cards that you need to collect and you have Champions to buy. I just feel as though Paladins is a crisper and more balanced game at the moment.
