The game is a lot of fun but it's one of the most horribly optimized VR games I've ever played. It's strange that literally every other game I own on my PC runs like a dream but this game runs so terribly that I cannot even play it unless I drop the rendering resolution to like 48% and even then it still runs crappy. The game itself is a hoot and a holler, but the fact that it runs so badly makes it not worth purchasing. I would say do not buy this game in it's current incarnation.

I really enjoy the gameplay arc/systems for this game. It's an action survival game, by which I mean there are elements of survival and crafting but the focus is on the action. It is much like a Far Cry game, which I love, but with ZOMBIES! A buddy gave me the game for my bday as a gift and I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait to try out the co-op mode.

Wow... What a bunch of a'holes. Did they do anything for all the people who BOUGHT the game long ago? NO! This is what we call a ♥♥♥♥ developer ladies, gentlemen and other people. This is what we call a RIP OFF ARTIST dev. NEVER GIVE THIS COMPANY A RED CENT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! They are not worthy, they will just steal from you in the end anyway. Don't bother with this game. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. KEEP MOVING PEOPLE! The game is great... it's fun, if you get into matches it's very addicting... The crap the dev pulls... I wouldn't bet they'll be doing too great a job on supporting this game going forward and they definitely aren't supporting the player in any way. Also... not sure what they were thinking with their WORTHLESS CRAP LAUNCHER but that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. WHO THE HELL WANTS TO DOWNLOAD A 70 GIG GAME AT 2MB PER SECOND YOU MORONS? Get your crap together...

This game is truly incredible. The graphics are also top notch. It's a spectacle for sure. The cut scenes are a little long but they're not MGS long. The shooting mechanics are a little different than most first person shooters as it's meant to convey a sense of using older and broken down or slightly rusty weapons. Sometimes they might jam, you'll have to repair them at times or you can even modify them with different parts you find in the game world. You can, of course, craft times as is the trend in all video games these days and each of the game's biomes give you a great sense of depth for the game world as a whole. This is one of the best shooters out there. It's also got some of the best graphics out there, if your machine can push it. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

It's sad. Personally, I really liked Outlier. I felt like the combat in the game was unique in VR and I had so much fun with it. I felt like a demigod tossing around rocks while shooting bad guys and tossing their bodies at their friends. All the while, I was hopping around and floating like a winged creature with prowess. It was intense for me. I'm so super sad they won't be continuing the game and hopefully they respond to my request for a refund. Perhaps we will see the same or a similar combat system in the future if they'd be so inclined to bring it to a more story focused game. Think... Titanfall 2's TIME BENDING stage or Raven Software's AMAZING Singularity but with OUTLIER'S powers. That WOULD BE INCREDILBE! If you need a voice actor Joy Way, I'd be willing to assist for the price of FREE and my voice is truly amazing. You'd have to hear it to believe it, but it's true!

It'd be a great game if it was properly optimized. In its current state, I cannot recommend it. I know it's the popular thing and these little kids are poppin their tops for it but I'm a REAL gamer and I require my games to run well. This is unoptimized. This company needs a lesson on proper optimization. Perhaps they could talk with the God of War team. I'm sure it could happen... but there are no Vsync options in the game. ARE YOU SERIOUS? No Vsync? Get it together guys. This would be a great game if you could get your graphics to run good. When I can literally max out every game on the market right now and have an enjoyable experience with Ray Tracing and your game runs like CRAP with medium ray tracing, y'all got a lot of work to do.

Are you ready for VR KUNG FU? Are you ready to play the BEST VR FIGHTING GAME AROUND? Then BUY THIS GAME. It is worth every umm.... whatever the smallest denomination of money is in your culture is. In mine, it's the penny! It's worth the 30 bux! It's better than any 'simple boxing' game. This will give you great cardio while being super fun and interesting the whole time. Who doesn't like looking like a badass while kicking butt around the arena or ring!? If you love martial arts films, if you are trained in martial arts, YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME! If you are a content creator, you can make some REALLY cool/funny stuff y'all! There's a lot of content for one programmer to have jammed into this package. Once multiplayer hits, this game WILL BE OFF THE HOOK! I will SMACK THE FRICK out of y'all! I would love it if Full Body Tracking were added for kicking (I am trained in Tae Kwon Do) and it would be a cool extra, but it's not at all required to make this a great experience. I cannot say enough BUY THIS AWESOME GAME IF YOU LOVE FIGHTING GAMES AND HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR TEKKEN/MORTAL KOMBAT/STREET FIGHTER VR! This game is definitely what you are looking for!

I beta tested this game and I am happy to say I enjoyed every minute of it. Now that the game has arrived in full form, I'm happy to say I'm enjoying every minute of it! :) This game is great! Try not to compare it to other games... Try to take it for what it is. A great story surrounded by amazing graphics and fun game play! Who could ask for anything more? Well... Multiplayer (preferably Co-Op) would be incredible, it doesn't really require it as on it's own, this game stands tall. It is an incredible showcase of PC/Graphical power and the game play loop is quite fun. I've seen a lot of complaints about the battle system being terrible... Not sure what those people are talking about cause I love the combat in this game. I will admit that some things about it feel a bit off, but once you get the timing of attacks and things down, you'll be enjoying every battle like I do! Give this game some time when you first start. You might find yourself having fun!

I am seeing a lot of negative reviews for the VR version of this game but I personally am having a great time playing this one. It's by no means perfect... in fact, the controls are a bit inconsistent when trying to attack, but the feel of this game is incredible and offers a rush like no other. Flying through the depths of space, next to giant planets with rings, into nebulae or even just through the clouds on earth is so enthralling that there's literally nothing else on the market like it. This is an EXPERIENCE for sure. The feeling of accomplishment when you do defeat your enemies is pretty nice, but sometimes the controls can get frustrating. If you do your best to flow with the game and have fun, you'll be in for the ride of your life. The music that plays during certain times is so incredible it really puts in you in the moment. It's also horrifying to shoot a bolt of power at an alien space craft only to see the craft move really fast and dodge it and your powers to hit a nearby building while you hear the horrified final screams of some humans who are dying or being injured. I hope they make some improvements to things, like the graphics of the humans and cars. I also hope they offer weather effects. It'd be cool to do one of these missions while it's raining or snowing. The graphics aren't perfect but they do look incredible at times. There are some scenes and moments that will literally blow you away in VR. This game is fun... even if a bit frustrating. Try to enjoy it, and I know you will! Being a demi god can't be easy. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette ;)
