Legitimately one of the funnest games I've ever played with so much replay value. The base game is good, but once we started adding mods, every run is completely unique. And if things start to feel a little stale, you can always just add more mods to shake it up again. 100% recommend to anyone looking for something fun to play with friends. Win or lose, it's guaranteed to be a good time

The game is incredible. I fell in love with it from the prologue and have been anticipating the full release since, and I am very pleased with the release.

The developer has clearly been working hard and taking all feedback very seriously. Recently, an update caused a save issue where people lost progress. The developer fixed it as soon as they woke up, it seems, and I honestly am not concerned that I needed to replay an hour to get back to where I was, as it was still enjoyable gameplay. Ignore anyone complaining about the save bug, it was an issue for less than a day (devs need rest, too!).

The game is really chill, you can play how you want at your own pace. It's basically a 3D clicker game with building/crafting elements included. It's a wonderful combination and executed very well.

The only feedback I have regarding QoL adjustments (which the dev has been working tirelessly to address for everyone since release) is updated verbiage on some of the buildings. I've found that some items are difficult to understand without trial and error. An example is how on paper, the vacuum seems to perform the same function as the collector, but without the filter option, yet it costs more. I also didn't find out until maybe 10 hours in that you can stack miners on top of collectors to give them the same active area. Being able to move stuff instead of destroy and rebuild would also be really nice, especially for collectors with filters in place. The game is still a ton of fun whether or not these things get added, though.

To the dev: Don't let the few drown out the many - you're doing a fantastic job and I'm looking forward to future updates!

I haven't played the previous game(s), but this was a solid game and well worth the price.

It's nice to finally have a Monster Hunter game on PC. I've played so many of the older games, but this is what I've been waiting for. There is a bit more added to the combat, plenty of weapon choices, and the monsters even seem to have new movesets. I loved the old games and this one both looks and plays so much better. Some of the newer additions make the game a bit easy, but it still provides enough of a challenge to keep it fun.

A few issues are currently making it a bit difficult to enjoy to it's fullest, but I'll keep playing and hope it improves.
- Networking, as many others have mentioned, is a bit broken. Difficult to join friends, which is pretty important.
- Graphically difficult to run. Much of the game isn't too bad, but there are some areas that run horribly, even on a 1070.

Edit: ***If you have an Nvidia card, make sure you are runninng driver 398.36, this fixed all of my fps issues and I am now getting 80+ frames on max settings in 1080p***

I don't review games very often, but this one deserves it.

First off, the game is short. It took me about 6 1/2 hours to complete the game. The game is also very linear, many times not having any option to go back. The game is also only $30, though, so I honestly started the game expecting it to be like this.

The story is absolutely amazing though. The environment is extremely immersive and every bit of the game really makes you feel like you're there. The controls are simple and the combat is challenging, but simple enough to master.

One tip though: use headphones. Use them and turn them up.

Final review: Amazing/10

I've been playing this game since mid-late Alpha and it's certainly undergone many changes.

If you're looking for a fun adventure game to play with friends, I'd certainly recommend giving it a go.

Quick Pros/Cons:

Pros:
+ Combat System
+ Building
+ Social Environment
+ Customizability (Character Styles)

Cons:
- Very grindy after a certain point
- Market could use work
- In order to build, you'll need to farm or buy many blocks
- Gets quite repetitive

Go ahead and give it a shot; it's a free game, so worst-case scenario, you can simply remove it if you don't enjoy it. But if you do, you'll have hours, days, weeks or more of enjoyment. You'll make friends, get some kick-ass looking gear (much of which has been made by the community) and probably forget what time it is.
