Wow, where do I even begin?

At first, Warframe's gonna be this cool space ninja game you'd pick up when your run-of-the-mill RPG or looter shooter isn't giving you that dopamine shot for years on end (yes, I'm looking at you Destiny). It has in-depth combat, unique characters and abilities, and many different ways to boost your overall power as a player. So by all means, it'd have its niche for many a player.

But if you take a second to dive deeper into the game, you'll see the game has a lot more to offer than ad-waves and replayable content. It's got a dark yet intricate story and lore for each Warframe and NPC, and a unique mod system (as far as I know) as well as a repeat-leveling system to further increase your frames'/weapons' compatibility with upgrades. Not to mention a bunch of interactions regarding abilities. There's a Warframe/ability to fit whatever niche, class, focus, or playing style you want. I'd mention a few, but this list goes on for a WHILE. There's even a mix-and-match thing (the Hellminth) which will allow you to put a Warframe's certain ability on another Warframe, even further boosting their strength or synergy, whether for your playstyle, or for surviving harder content.

As someone with a few hours across this (Steam does not show PSN hours, I think that's +500 or so?) as well as Destiny 2 (~3000), I can say with absolute confidence, that if you love RPG's, sci-fi content, and a long journey of a game which will reward you for the work that you put in, this game is at least worth a try. Oh, and one more jab: this game won't be vaulting any of its gameplay or content any time soon. AND IT'S ALL FREE! Even the in-game currency is free (through trading and/or player economy for gear or treasures that you obtain).

End of the day, Warframe is a super fun game, and if you invest a lot of time into games like these, it's worth a shot.
