Been playing BDO on and off since it first came out and i can easily say that this is the BEST time to pick up the game. Don't listen to idiots on youtube that may say the game is "P2W" or "the loneliest" MMO. I'm not gonna list the PROS because there are too many and you can probably guess from what other people's comments what they are. In short, beautiful graphics, captivating gameplay, good playerbase etc.

Now the cons. KEEP THESE IN MIND and this should be your key points. First i'd like to say that no matter what i think you should give the game a go. It's not a subscription and it costs $10, if you're interested just try it. Now the 3 biggest problems i have with this game are root core issues and thus i feel should determine whether or not you play.

One, the game isn't P2W, but it is pay for convenience. This SHOULD NOT matter to you. If you are a casual player then this doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥. Now if your a competitive player that wants to get into the endgame pvp and fast then yes, you have to spend money. That or spend months/years getting to that level. However, most people aren't that. They just want to play the game for fun and at their own pace. Now the only negative i have for the pearl shop is that valuepacks are SOO valuable and they make the game easier and more convenient. This you have to pay for. However, PA does give A LOT of free stuff from valuepacks and content through just logging in etc.

Second. The game doesn't have real endgame PVE content. It is mainly focused on PVP like guild v guild. Nodewars etc. Not much to say, no dungeons or raids yet.

Third. The game is for sure grindy. This makes no sense to me why people see it as a con. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MMORPG what do you expect. Also, this grind can feel minimal if you just EXPLORE THE GAME FULLY. The first time i started i JUST cared about leveling and grinding. I burnt out REAL quick. Dont do that. Is you get bored of leveling, go checkout lifeskilling it's actually really fun. There's a lot of content for you to waste your time on haha. Or just take a break! it's okay your char will be there when you're back.

I don't know a lot of this is just rambling so hopefully not too many errors, but please try this game. See for yourself if you like it or not. Just make sure you come with an open mind.
