Boring start
-who cares about your OC Not-BlackMesa incident
-why trying to do your own HEV voice? It's just cringe and less good
-Boring "main" NPC talking and talking, bloody hell they took the worst part of Blue Shift and tried so hard to make her a "waifu"
-Beginning is boring

But VERY good combat with gibs, new weapons and ♥♥♥♥.
-headshots are just DELICIOUS

-mostly played for the story and because I downloaded 150 GB for a solo game (WTF?) so I will at least finish it.

-gun play is alright (could easely find better in other games such as metro sadly, mainly because of the following problem)
-Enemy spawning and respawning right next to you (making the gameplay so so bad, nothing like killing mutants in a quest for them to respawn one second later)
-No mutant loot (enjoy wasting durability for nothing, making running away the most optimal choice when fighting mutants outside of quests.)
-quick use items are not working 75% of the time- the amount of death I had because my medickit decided to just not work
-Need of yellow paint to guide us cause map design is often bad
-not optimised at all
-bugs bugs bugs and bugged quest
-R.I.P the lovely STALKER French Dub
-R.I.P the ambiance stalker music
-R.I.P A-Life
-R.I.P the ingame encyclopedia (While it was only present in the first game why not bring it back? Makes waiting for the end of the emission just boring)

-running simulator? (at least in the first game you could have artefacts for infinite sprint but idk if it's just me being unlucky on artefacts BUT the energy drink nerf is just dumb- the map is already so big and mostly empty, running from quest to quest is a chore)
-exploration is meh (rewards are 90% foods and bullets but I must admit that there are sometime some neat stuff making it worthwhile)
-economy is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, if you decide to buy a weapon/armor you often find a better or the exact same one 5 minutes later, it would be less a problem if you didn't have to spend all your money to buy/repair one.

-story is alright but the gameplay experience is so mediocre that it makes it difficult to fully appreciate it

I expected a game as good as Space Marine 1, I was not disappointed. Its not game of the year material but it gets the job done, well done. PVP is good, pve is very fun, campaign is good and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass.
Could use more polish and a bit more content in PVP but is a solid purchase!

One of the best FPS rpg, the story, the design, the gameplay everything is just so good!

I love this DLC! Just the perfect example of a dlc, they know they we now know the game so fights are harders, maps different.

The new enemies and the new guns are neat but tbh they aren't that special

Pretty good starts but the quality just keeps going down as chapters go on. I feel like have an half life comic without the combines as a big presence makes it less interesting, it quickly devolves into some sort of walking dead inspired story with less interesting characters (The guy quickly bored me, too many defaults, not enough qualities, tried too hard to make him unlikable for too long. The girl is pretty hot but the"I'm such a bad person" moment made me roll my eyes and too much characters being motivated by love, like TOO MANY.)

The drawing are pretty good though and in the end it's my opinion and I'm sure that some peoples could enjoy this story, just not me, too many characters being from Black Mesa makes it less unique (feels like I'm in the middle of a bunch of teenager's ocs- we all went through this, i'm no exception.) the cosmic scale is kind of MEH (makes for pretty drawings though.)

On one hand I don't really like how they REALLY tried to make their own story, but maybe it would not work for so many chapters if they sticked too much to half life's story. Who knows, I recommend reading it on youtube and buying it if you like. Can't really judge a fan-made comic made by peoples like you and me.

I wanted to no recommend it but after writing this review, well...if you do my youtube strategy you only need to buy 2 chapters which you can refund later so it's worth a shot!

To conclude: Good start but quickly becomes mediocre (but hey, it's half life so if you are a starved fan like me it's not THAT Bad)

Main character got crit- you lost (no matter if you have a resurrection scroll)

Can still be enjoyable. Its more like a very rough gem but for me it's just too frustrating to be worth it.
But after a while seeing my entire party missing one enemy over and over and over is just getting so frustrating.

if you want one crpg, just go buy another one.

+Perfect world building (it feels like 40k and not just a paintjob)

-But the gameplay is just alright
-It feels like a loading screen simulator.
-Need more voice acting (or just a narrator other rpgs with the same price tag have one and it makes the pages of detail that much more bearable)

Is okay, the kind of "experience game" that you only play once. It's a bit touching but I found myself not really attached to the character but that's mostly my fault.

Nevertheless I think that this game is overpriced for the amount of time required to complete it. Don't think of this game as a game, rather as a neat short story (with puzzles)

Edit: I found out that there is more to the game after you are done with it but sadly it did not get the hint that was supposed to appear which is a slight problem (probably because I was fullscreen rather than in window mod but still annoying)
