I only rammed my head against the wall maybe five or six times. Tremendous fun. I managed to complete the game and a fair bit of extra items and secrets beyond that and I am not brilliant at puzzle games. There's nothing in this game so cryptic that you're locked out of getting to the 'end' unless you are some sort of savant-lunatic. Be warned, you won't just play this for a few minutes here or there, once you start you won't want to stop and the hours will melt away.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what a game. This is super underrated. Remember how horrible Xen was? Now its awesome and like 4 hours long.

Did you like FFVI? Then play this one, don't overthink it. One of the best modern JPRGs I have ever played.

Solid Metroidvania. Not quite as good as Blasphemous but if you're a fan of the genre there's a lot to like here.

Average first time tourist in Shinjuku Station experience.

Solid. They changed plenty from the last game to make it feel fresh.

Only complaints are that the bosses aren't these huge monstrosities like in the original, the executions aren't all unique anymore, and one of the three weapons has limited usefulness in combat.

It looks like garbage and it controls like garbage. The dialogue and story are garbage.

As far as the mechanics go I guess its fine? If you like dnd it will feel familiar, but good lord is it janky. Couldn't make it beyond a few hours, its just an ugly experience. And this came out in 2021? Good GOD.
