great stuff but once again it seems these games these days cant stay way from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RUNNING ZOMBIES. when the hell are people going to get that it makes these games inbalanced as ♥♥♥♥. they are just a bother. nothing more. no depth to an other wise decent game. diffently worth a cheap buy. shocked its for free.

FYI I have played since the orginal Dayz mod came out, though i have not put in the effort to play all the mods within the past year in a half. I DO NOT SUGGEST GETTING THE STANDALONE DAYZ IF YOU HAVENT BEEN PLAYING THAT LONG OR JUST PLAY THE HIGH ACTION MODS, wait to see if this game interest you if it ever gets finish.

Cant hardly experience the game play b.c of issues with the zombies. you can avoid them decently but they are always evenly spaced out, most barely move around or move to fast, thus being a unreasonable burden for you when looking for any useful gear you most likely will not find.
Not having any objects to throw to make the zombies aggro somewhere else, melee weapons that actually do the job of killing a zombie for when you find out you can never sneak up on one atm, rarity non parishable food items, firearm rarity, magazines rarity {god forbid you can find the right ammo for any of them} and never finding anything to start a fire with so you can cook the only food you can most likely find {chickens} are just some of the alpha issues you would like to figure out by playing the game. logical item spawns and rarity issues are to be expected in a alpha of a survival game though those issues are to be debated, but the VERY OVERLY PERSISTENT of still tested zombie characteristics make testing any of these issues almost impossible and pointless. I hope and think the smoothing out of the role the zombies will play will also bring the game together faster. b.c trying to battle the hardcore realism the game is trying to accomplish while battling unlimited no boundry NPC enemies just seems like im playing two games in one. as in (one of these isnt like the other....)

balance is horrible. they didnt use any real life logic. case in point, a completly wooden pitch fork takes out a fully armored person in one blow. fully armored as in helmet with a visor. dont get this if your looking for a challenge in realist combat strategy. the look of your character does look wonderful. reminds me of my experience with COD. makes no logical sense but your character looks badass.
ether way, it can be fun. there was some hardcore moments after i understood how to use the right cheesy gear and tactics.
