Absolutely loving it so far. Quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all time. The servers had issues at launch in the US, but were quickly ironed out. I haven't had any problems after updating my GPU driver, and the game is extremely well-crafted and a ton of fun.

Really enjoyable and cheap. Good length for the price

Love it. The best parts of Blood Money and Absolution combined into one wonderful game. I haven't experienced any of the network issues that many other people seem to have experienced, so my time with this game has been completely flawless (except for the god-aweful Colorado Mission . Hate that mission so much)! Loving it

Alright, after finishing my first playthrough, I can safely say that this is one of my favorite games of all time. As with any game, it has its flaws, but the myriad positives that this game -- nay, this experience -- brings to the table far outweighs the flaws. TL;DR at the bottom!

Pros:
- The combat is amazing, and as fast or slow paced as you want it to be. This can be changed through the difficulty settings, as well as the wonderful ability to play in normal time, slow mode, or fast mode. The combat itself is deep without being dense. Plenty of room to experiment with different combos, abilities, and strategies, but not so intricate so as to be intimidating or annoying. The party member combo abilities are especially fun to play with.
- The story is amazing. It's shortish (took me a little over 25 hours to finish, exploring every nook and cranny, reading all the lore, completing every side quest, etc), but I see this as a good thing overall. The pacing is really good, and although act II is a bit railroady and act III is very short (depending on your earlier decisions), I always prefer a short, well-made story to a long, drawn out story that drags on and on for far too long.
The characters are diverse and interesting, each with their own motives that (mostly) make sense.
- The inventory and loot system is really good. Compared to Pillars of Eternity, it isn't dumbed down, it's just easier to navigate quickly, allowing you to accomplish what you need to and get back to the action quickly.
- The leveling system and skill/ability trees are intuitive, but not dumbed down. A comparison would be the difference between Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Rather than dumbing everything down and providing less choices, and thereby making the game less of an RPG and more of a straight up action hack-n-slash, Obsidian just improved the layout and made it easier to understand and navigate. Great job.
- The world-building is phenomenal. Obsidian seems to have found a way to keep the depth of the lore found in Pillars of Eternity while making it much easier to absorb, digest, and understand. I can name every faction, recite most of the history of each faction and their leaders past and present, and describe to you the overall gameworld of Tyranny much better after one playthrough than I could for Pillars of Eternity after multiple playthroughs.
- The dialogue system is fantastic, and except for a lot of Act II, very open, giving you freedom to take many different paths. I especially loved the in-text links to information of key people, places, and events. It allows you to learn about and engage the world for the first time without compromising your character, a knowledgable man/woman who knows the world very well, and possesses a lot of power in it. It's a fantastic system.
- There are many more pros I could touch on, but this is getting pretty long, so lets move on to the cons...

Cons:
- The characters, while great, could've used more personal development. Each companion has a backstory, most of them interesting, and their mannerisms and hidden thoughts are discovered through adventuring with them, but the lack of individual companion quests hurts the experience. That said, their addition could very easily hurt the overall pacing of the story, so I'm not sure their absence is entirely negative.
- As I mentioned, Act II can feel a bit too railroady, although in retrospect Act II is mostly just your decisions from Act I playing out. Act I is very open and there are many different paths to take, so overall, again, Act II could've been done better, but it is still fantastic and well-done.
- At least in my initial playthrough, Act III does feel pretty short, and it ends rather abruptly. That said, the story itself does wrap up pretty neatly (relative to your in-game choices throughout), and it sets it up for some truly epic DLCs and/or a sequel, so yeah, again, I feel that Act III could've been executed a bit better, but it still is an amazing and well-done experience.
- Depending on your playstyle, combat can get a bit monotonous after awhile (tank front line with warrior, incapacitate dangerous spellcasters/archers with mage/archer/rogue, cleanup front line with off-tank). That said, this is less of a flaw with the game, and more of a flaw with the gamer's strategy. While their is one generic strategy that makes most encounters very easy, there are tons of abilities, companions, and items that make each encounter exactly as unique as you decide to make it. Furthermore, the previously-mentioned slow mode/normal mode/fast mode system makes it easy to power through easy encounters quickly, keeping you from wasting time on meaningless fights.

TL;DR:
-Overall, it's an amazing game with some very fresh and innovative systems, but doesn't attempt to fix what wasn't broken to begin with from Pillars of Eternity. It's a must play for any fan of the RPG genre, and a good entry point for those new to the genre. Pick it up ASAP if you can afford it, and if you can't, put it on your wishlist and get it on sale! It's definitely worth it!

I don't really write reviews, but I'll be damned if I don't write one for this masterpiece. It may be short, but it sure is sweet. With the perfect balance of Borderlands-esque humor and art style, mixed with the sheer beauty of the west, it's one of the most enjoyable games that I have ever played. The combat is tight and frantic, with extremely satisfying gunshots and explosions.

You'll meet a ensemble of many legends of the Wild West on your journey, and you'll kill most of them. Though Silas' story may be a bit exaggerated, you will discover "nuggets of truth" along the way. These nuggets are little snippets of the true history of the West and it's outlaws.

While a part of me wishes that it was much longer, I think the shortness of the game is actually one of it's strengths. It doesn't outstay its welcome - it doesn't lose its focus, its charm, along the way. From start to finish, Gunslinger is satisfying and fun, with great combat, hilarious dialogue, and a truly epic tale... the tale of Silas Greaves.
