9/10. Great game to play with friends

-1 for the tedious travels you need to transport metals to your main base cause you can't teleport metals. some of which are actually enjoyable and soothing on the first couple of travels in the sea, but becomes boring and a waste of time for the succeeding travels.

Good RPG Game with Comic book inspired art style. As expected for these games, it becomes a little bit grindy, but I did not have any problems with progression to the point that I need to grind something and I think the grindy part only applies for people who care about the achievements. I find the story a little bit underwhelming. Would really be good if there's a sequel to back it up.

Interesting plot till the end. I think a lot of people hates the combat but I don't seem to be bothered by it. It will come to a point that you can practically use every character given that you've become used to it. Difficulty spike is very forgiving and it's a good experience even for those who are not used to roguelike. I find the little interactions between family members heartwarming and cute sometimes, despite the environment they are living in and the choices that they have to make.

Some Mega Man Battle Network Nostalgia mix with roguelike progression that makes the game addicting as well as offer a lot of replayability given there's a lot of characters to choose from which can also have multiple builds depending on how you want it.

Gameplay's polished to the max (except some questionable hitbox). Charms offer a lot of complexity and really impacts you on how you approach the game. Level design is great and the progression feels rewarding since it is not linear as it may seem. The game just oozes out brilliance specially in world building. Characters have little dialogue, but well-written so much so that it will make you care for the characters in 2-3 instances of conversation RIP Myla . Overall a highly recommended game for people who likes metroidvania games, enjoys difficulty, and pretty much any people who likes games.

9.9/10. just waiting for silksong made me subtract 0.1

Recently played this one with the boys. pretty fun game till your friend gets grumpy cause you grind without him.
