I have hard time remembering what I did with EU4 earlier this year. I have neither mod that I mentioned in my comment enabled in my playset, but rather the old, since removed, version of "Eurocentric institutions". All in all, it seems like I have completely ditched and streamlined my years old playset where I tried combining all kinds of mod to achieve a more eurocentric goal.

This is odd, considering I did make some pretty hefty edits to the "Reasonable historical direction" mod. Maybe I went to my desktop, and continued my work after July, and added these edits to the "Eurocentric institutions" mod? What I did was that I made it a requirement to have all previous institutions embraced, before embracing the newest one. So basically, the tech costs kept stacking up throughout the campaign, and the European states where they originated, got an increasing advantage.

I guess I have to continue my work whenever I get interested in playing EU4 again and have access to my desktop again.
