Fun for 1-2 hours

Enjoyable, but the game is not worth $25 AT ALL. There is no where near $25 worth of content, plus It's a dead game.
The price would make more sense if it offered remote-play, but it doesn't.

Having a lot of fun with this game. Wasn't big into any Souls-like game, but for some reason this has been really enjoyable.

love the art, combat, and upgrade system that they got going on. also trying to figure out all the different recipes when cooking is fun as well.

liked the music/sound, but it got a little repetitive as time went on.

the monkey arc wasnt necessary in my opinion, but what surrounds it is a nice concept. the fact that the train was never progressing was a cool touch. the final play/fight you had to participate in was also very unique compared to a lot of what we had already seen in the story. but overall... it really didnt add much besides a nice atmosphere

also, I think the arc where john met his first "love" in the village wasn't really important as well... i dont think they were around each other long enough for it to have any meaningful impact on the player. maybe it wasnt supposed to be seen as john finding love there, but i didnt get attached to any of the characters at all

the ending was really cool and the cutscenes between each phase were phenomenal. really gave out some AoT energy towards the middle. i wish i had unlocked more of that underground area towards chapter 3/4... maybe i wouldve unlocked the true ending (or so i heard)

LASTLY... the game inside of the game (i think it is called Earth born), is grindy as hell


If you have a liking for these kinds of pixel graphics RPG, i dont think youll be disappointing. there are a lot of cool ideas in this game that get revealed as you continue on, which slightly revitalizes the game as u progress. i just think its a little long, but the ending was worth ;D

This game is extremely addicting with friends. Never a dull moment.
