Great game albeit weaker in the second half

Lots of fun, kind of like Mini Metro but with planes

Many games aren't the same on a second runthrough. I wish I could play Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Return of the Obra Dinn again for the first time. And some games are so good that calling them 'games' feels like a disservice to what they actually are- experiences. Outer Wilds checks both these boxes. The gameplay is fun, the soundtrack is fantastic, and the story is interesting, but more than that, Outer Wilds is an experience that I'll remember and think of for years to come. It might sound like a stretch, but playing through Outer Wilds has shifted my view on an inevitability of life. The most important thing though- go in fresh. Don't look at spoilers. Outer Wilds is a once in a decade type of game.

I started this game a few years ago and enjoyed it, but stopped about halfway through for whatever reason. Earlier this year I decided to go back, restart, and finish it. The game is a super fun VN with great characters. Even the ones I didn't initially like turned out to be likeable, and even some of my favorites, by the end. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys story-driven games.

A great, albeit short, experience

Fantastic for anyone who likes mystery and puzzlesolving
