I've written very long reviews before and because I love this 1st game so much I will keep it short and sweet for those thinking about buying this game.

For those who love J-RPG's: This is a must have game tons of story backed into a 50-100 hour game depending on difficulty. Characters are interesting(mostly). Gameplay is a solid turn-based system. Overall, would easily recommend if thinking about buying this game!

For those who haven't played many J-RPG's: The game isn't too punishing to new players as there is an easy difficulty option for those not comfortable playing turn-based games. (+everything said above).

Overall, after 200+ hours of gameplay and 100% completion I can say I'm satisfied with this game.

It's the last gen version. I didn't know this until afterwards. The only thing that saves this is the mods available online for the game.

SPOILERS BEWARE!!!! If you see this it's because it is serious spoiler material!

Bugs, glitches and other gameplay issues aside, the game is great! I'm disappointed with how certain characters were treated (Takemura, Dex, T-Bug, Evelyn Parker and Jackie). It felt that they were used only to progress the story and nothing else they didn't matter beyond their use.

Jackie is your friend who gets killed during a big mission he is mentioned every once and awhile and yes you can have moments where his death affects you but he is put in the backseat for most of the story.

Takemura is an interesting character as he was the personal bodyguard of the leader of Arasaka, who gets killed by his son, which you witnessed. He ends up saving you as he suspects that the son was the one who killed him. He dies anti-climatically as well, you don't even get to see him die either which may be something explored in a later DLC.

Dexter is the guy who sets you up with the job to steal from Arasaka. After it all goes tits up he kills you....or tries at least. He ends up getting killed rather anti-climatically by Takemura.

T-Bug is a netrunner whom you know through past missions that you never get to play she helps with the heist at the beginning of the story. Shes killed during the heist unfortunately, her exact fate is never revealed (Perhaps future DLC?).

Evelyn Parker is the woman who requests the heist from Dexter. She ends up dying after a long series of missions that result in her suicide. The sad part is that she could've easily done far more in the story. I actually kinda liked her.

These five seemed integral to the story yet I felt that they weren't used to their full potential.

Jackie was used as a motivator for V. His death is seemingly meant to push V to accomplish the goal of removing the biochip from your head he should've been popping into V's head far more throughout the story.

T-Bug could've been used for much more than a throwaway character. She could've been your contact at the Voodoo Boys. Her death is fairly wide open so my guess is DLC or maybe not.

Dexter could been an easy side gig in tracking him down and giving V the satisfaction of killing him for what he did to you. Let's not forget that the reason you have the biochip issue in the first place is because Dex decided to attempt to kill you which caused the biochip to activate and boom the story begins. V deserved to be the one to kill Dex in a satisfying side gig.

Evelyn Parker is a big one that was very surprising the way that she died. I thought she could've easily been used far more in the story perhaps not only helping you figure out what to do about the Voodoo boys but also with the final heist perhaps she could've used her connections with Yorinobu (Saburo's son) to get you a way in the tower.

Edit: Some of my information is incorrect as the outcome of a certain character Takemura can be changed if certain decisions are made. I have learned this after a second playthrough. Although this only affects the outcome of one character. My opinion on other characters still stands. Glitch on chooms!

Great port of a mobile game. It's fun to play on PC too. The price is only worth it if you're into strategy games. Would recommend!

Blow people up, shoot people up, run people over, beat people up, and burn people alive. The game is legendary.

I'm not going to bash a game that's already received plenty of hate. Well deserved hate, mind you. For some reason IO Interactive thought that a far more linear game was perfect for the Hitman franchise. The story is absurd, the concept of 47 himself is absurd but at least the story of his creation was't done in such a ridiculous fashion. Victoria is essentially the damsel that 47 runs around protecting in the game, you never get to play as her which is a missed opportunity in my opinion as a female assassin sounds fun as hell to play as. 47 runs around trying to find her (after having lost her to Dexter (big antagonist) for a majority of the game). The worst parts of the games comes from the levels where there aren't many options to do anything, or from levels where the player needs to sneak from one end of the level to the other and reach the exit and that's it. No target no objective other then exit the level. the score system is kinda broken and also a major issue since it penalizes the player for actions that previously were invited. If you pacify someone, you lose score. A majority of the levels require at least one pacification to get by NPCs. The Silent Assassin rating is hard as balls to get in this game, I can easily play any other Hitman game and receive the rating but it seems that they boosted to requirements. There were levels were I was never spotted and eliminated the target(s) but I didn't receive the SA rating. The game is a chore to play through again after years of having finished it. The female Hitman concept is something they should explore (not because of meh equality, but because I think it would be fun).

Great for showing off your PC to others as well as putting some eye candy for yourself.

Great software to benchmark your system and compare it to others. Also great for stress testing. I recommend it for those who want to overclock their systems as well.

The game is good but has a few glitches otherwise the wrestling system is basically the same as recent wrestling games. Far better than 2K20 and all of the other 2K games before it except for 2K14.

The game is basically the same as all of the other 2K's I would recommend 2K11 on PC. That game has far more mod support.
