Instantly feels like there's no progress or story or care. Understanding the dislike this game gets. Nothing like other entries in the series. I won a hard race off the gate in the first car I found with 2 busted tires. The rubber banding is insane too, if I'm doing trash, the AI barely advance and you can catch up, but if you do good theyre always on your tail smashing into you. It took like 20 minutes play time to already be #10 on the blacklist, and with no story I have no drive or direction, its all just free play in a sandbox, and with a dead online experiece and still the ever-presence of the many DLC's in the game (even in your HUD) It's just not the best experience. They took some aspects of Hot Pursuit and of Burnout: Paradise and made this. :(

Simple controls and a short story with limited side content, yet a great story to play through if its on sale, definitely worth a play, especiallyif you liked the latter games.

Firstly I'm not sure why people are hating on the controller, mine worked from the first open without issues. But it would be nice to be actually able to see what buttons do what in the menus, rather than just showing PC keys.
Other than that this game is heaps of fun. Yes it is an older game now and its pretty simple in controls and physics, but its crammed full of fun and action and enough of a challenge but not ridiculously hard to play. Also split screen is a bonus!

i wish i gauged out my eyes instead of recieving this deep fried garbage in my Flatout pack. I can't believe how bad a game I wished for when I was younger actually is.

Very good game, follows the story well enough, but with enough side bits, quirks, comedy, and Lego-related activities for it to live up to die-hard fans and newcomers alike.

No play with friends. Only runs in narrow phone-shaped mode. Forced 200% volume when it opens. Pay to win decks. And a payed battlepass. No thanks.

Good game, do enjoy, easy to get lost in. Always set a timer so you don't miss real-life tasks.

If you get it free or find it randomly in your inventory and have seen it there for years and wondered if it's time to play or not, I guess I can recommend it. For full price or not a heavy discount, no, don't. The idea for the story is good, but execution could be better, plus the story takes like 3hrs to finish, even with me buggering up a couple times. Gameplay is stiff and slow, and if you stray slightly off of where they want you to be you either hit one of a million invisible walls, or it just insta-kills you with no warning you strayed.... multiplayer was unfindable and apparently that was it's highpoint.

Good game, nice features, voluptuous aesthetics, curvy storytelling, full but to the point.
