Wow. A true work of art. As an indie dev I'm taking notes. This is some of the best writing I've seen in a game, and the art direction is superb.

Last time I owned a CoD game was Modern Warfare 3. The first one. After over a decade its nice to see that the gameplay has actually evolved a bit, and I've had more fun playing this game than probably any multiplayer shooter ever. But yeah, the seasonal content is giga cringe.

Zombies is pretty neat tho

Haven't played a CoD since MW3. The original. Never really been a big CoD fan but I got this to play with friends and so far it's actually great. I'm not usually a big fan of twitch shooters because it often feels like whoever-sees-the-other-player-first wins, unless that's me, in which case it's whoever-is-not-me wins. But CoD has changed a lot since 2011 and I'm here for it. Runs like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dream too.

Idk what other people are reviewing negatively for, but if you're looking for an arcade shooter to waste time, I haven't played one this polished in... ever, actually.

Imagine being mad that a late-game expansion to a souls game is hard.

It's kinda like System Shock 2 meets Quake 2. Pretty great, very exploitable!

Deepest RPG I've ever played, both in terms of gameplay and narrative. I've seen conversations play out four or five completely different ways that actually result in lasting effects on the game. Almost every single dialogue encounter can be handled in a few different ways. Outside of dialogue, gameplay is 1:1 D&D. It's the full pen & paper experience, minus all the annoying and time consuming aspects of the pen & paper experience. It's actually remarkable how much freedom you have in every encounter. It's a sandbox game in the world of D&D with incredibly rich writing and NPCs, and seemingly hundreds of hours of voice acting. This is GOTY, hands down. One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Congratulations, Larian. You've made a legendary game.

EDIT: Finally finished the game. This is one of the greatest games ever made. A genuine masterpiece. Final time on my last save was 180 hours, 80 of which were in Act 3 alone.

This is probably one of my rarest purchases. I bought this because at the time I was a very amateur filmmaker and this is a pretty cheap and easy way to get deep space sci fi imagery. Can confirm, its dope.

As a side note, I've been following this project since like 2012 or something and I don't think Space Engine gets enough credit for being the absolute first to do what it's doing. Well done everyone!

This is the best worst game I've ever played.

The first time I harvested a tactical kidney and sold it on the stock market, I was sold.

Also there's bhopping.

I had to turn off Camera Roll for it to be playable, personally, but after that the game was a blast. Its a game about finding the shortest path to your destination using everything at your disposal from wall running and diving through windows to blasting a hole through the wall. Movement is very floaty and guns are very punchy. Great sound design too, and a nice OST.

Worth noting: The campaign is ~3 hours long. There are multiple difficulties and several other game modes, but I got it on sale for $10 and I think that was a good value.
