The defense UI is hands down the worst attempt at it ive ever played. Counter-intuitive would be a compliment.

Pitching is fun if you used to pitch for real.

Batting is non-sense. You can barrel and time a pitch perfectly and if the pitch is outside the strikezone square even a millimeter the outfielder will catch the ball with their backs to the wall. EVERY TIME.

So out of the three phases of the game, this game does one well.

Not worth my money or time.

I really enjoy the game. The difficulty keeps me playing. I hope the Devs keep adding content as hinted and beyond.

Some encounters you are toast no matter what. That's life in a procedurally generated hostile wasteland. If you just rolled into every map and mopped up no problem every time, it wouldnt be a game.

For anyone complaining about combat or clunky ammo switching.. ENGAGE WISELY.. most human enemies will chill, eat or drink, turn their back and smoke a cig, hit them THEN. Have a plan for cover and/or flanking. Get good at shooting while flanking to cover. Just like real life, dont pop right back out where you were being fired at if you can help it. Find another angle the enemy didnt just see and shoot at you at. Try not to engage multiple human enemies at a time. Treat the situations with the same kind of caution and awareness you would in reality. Dont blame the game for your lack of planning or foresight. Its a you problem not the game.

Think tactically and you'll have more fun. Rage quits will happen.. but the difficulty means your successes will taste sweet.

At least they do for me. Happy wiser engaging.

My pick for Best Game i Suck At in the 2022 Steam Awards

In less than 24 hours of flying around in the sim i have the confidence to approach flying a real acro mode fpv drone. Due to the steepness of the learning curve, this sim has opened the hobby to me without the painful process of learning what i have already with a real drone and repeatedly incurring damage and potentially needing expensive replacement drone parts given how much i crashed those first many hours. Highly Suggested.
