JS&B is a "bullet hell" with elements from the rhythm game genre. As is immediately obvious from the trailer, the game's soundtrack takes center stage, and is composed of songs collected from numerous artists. The chosen tracks are primarily chiptune and dubstep. In each level, you move your character around a 2D space while avoiding the deadly shapes, pulses, and waves which dance across the screen in a choreographed cascade. Your only ability is a dash which increases your movement speed and gives you temporary invinsibility frames, allowing you to dodge incoming dangers or cross a gap to the next safe area. The gameplay is very simple but fun and satisfying, which makes it a great pick-up-and-play party game. The game supports both local co-op and online play with drop-in/drop-out functionality. There is a story campaign, but it's very short; I think I beat it in three hours. However if you enjoy the gameplay or have friends, there's a lot of replayability with the different stages.

Pros:
Solid bullet-hell gameplay.
Co-op on all game modes.
Great music, and level variety is pretty good.
Queue up multiple stages in "Playlist" mode.

Cons:
Brief, 3-hour campaign.
Content feels a little lacking, just over 30 stages total including tutorial levels.

Final Thoughts:
If you really enjoy bullet hell, chiptune music, or have friends who like to play this sort of stuff together, you can't go wrong by picking this one up. It's a very fun game, though $20 feels a little steep AT THIS TIME for the amount of content available. IF this game gets patched with aditional songs, or the devs implement a level-editor, I expect the value of this game to skyrocket. There's a lot of potential here, and my only real complaint is that I want more.
