This game is bizarre, but it's incredibly impressive too. The scale of the fractal world is massive.
I look forward to exploring more.

This game is a very fun re-imagining of the arcade classic, Missile Command. It takes a roguelite approach where each round, you get upgrade points which can be spent on different technologies to improve your various weapons and defensive abilities.
The vector graphics and synth soundtrack are both lovely.
I've discovered that there are a few ways in the early game to unlock special technology paths that drastically change your strategy for that run, either by disabling your shield and focusing on offense, or disabling your nukes and focusing on defense.

This is a really fun game. The schmoovement is excellent, with fluid and responsive controls for exploration and platforming. I completed the game after a bit over six hours, and there's still some secrets and optional pickups that I haven't found yet.
Overall I really enjoyed my time with the game. Easy recommend for any fan of platformers or metroidvanias.

This is an excellent and highly stylish metroidvania. This game puts an emphasis on platforming and exploration, with minimal combat.
As of now I've completed the main game and found roughly half of the game's primary collectible, eggs.
I really love the style of the game. The pixel art is very charming and detailed, with lots of atmospheric effects and realtime lighting to give the game a unique look. There were so many rooms in the game where I took a screenshot just because of how great it looked.
The emotional atmosphere is very spooky, but it's not really a horror game, either. I recommend playing at night for the best experience.

This is a bunnygirl raid-like. It has a beautiful artstyle and great co-op gameplay inspired by MMO raiding.
After completing a couple runs on Normal, I'm loving it!

The mechanics transform based on the number of players, so it can be played fully solo if you'd prefer.
One more thing: you can pet the catgirl shopkeeper.

Fun tower defense / RTS with wave survival elements. I really like the pixelated art style.

The situation with PSN integration remains volatile and the game is still blocked in several countries. I will keep my review negative for now.

Palworld is a blend of open world survival crafting with monster-tamer gameplay. The survival loop is very familiar: collect wood and stone, build some crafting benches, craft better gear so you can gather better materials. Where the game really shines is how the monster-tamer gameplay enhances this experience. When you catch Pals, you can put them to work in your base to automate most tasks, for example a water-type Pal can hydrate your farm plots and grow food for you. Certain Pals can chop wood or mine ore. You can craft saddles and put them on certain Pals to use as mounts, and some Pals can even fly you around. This creates a very natural and fun progression loop where catching Pals gives you new capabilities to expand your base and become more powerful.

As of this review I've completed the tutorial, built up a level 10 base, and defeated the first tower boss. So far the game has been very enjoyable and the gameplay loop is addicting. I still have a lot more to unlock and explore. The game currently appears to have dozens of hours of gameplay value.

Palworld is still in Early Access, and you can definitely tell. I've already experienced many glitches and "jank", especially when playing multiplayer with a friend. However in spite of these issues, the core gameplay is very engaging and the bugs have not stopped us from having tons of fun. I'd say the game has been well worth the asking price so far. I look forward to seeing where the devs take things from here, if they continue to actively support the game I think it has a very bright future.
