good game while it lasted, and it lasted for 2 evenings..
only 6 missions, all the rest is just repeat/grinding

Compared to Max Payne 1 this game offeres much better graphics and quality overall however the bullet time mechanism seems less effective. The story is much more vague yet somehow, simple. Women and love right...
Even on the easiest difficulty setting I found some parts quite challenging, which is good and not so much pain in the arse as the game offers quick save and load feature.
Overall, I'd say MP2 kept up the quality of series and I would recommend this game to everyone.

I would say it takes around 5 hours to complete on a single difficulty level.

One of my first games I ever played on a PC (15 years back?)
Every now and then I go back to it and complete it over few long nights.
I bought the steam version and had no issues at all, apart from sound but there is a fix.

If you decide to give this masterpiece a go, make sure you dont skip cutscenes and read all everything.
This game has a story comparable to MAFIA game.
Despite dated graphics, the game still looks good and the bullet time feature (NB first game with bullet time) is amazing.
I rate the game 10/10 and quite frankly one of the best games I have ever played.
Would recommend, takes around 6 hours to complete on a set difficulty level.

p.s. dont forget the sound fix...

This game is now 18 years old yet the original magic still remains.
Very simple yet complex, runs on every PC, amazing editor and even better game play.

Empty servers, long loading screens, nothing to do, boring.. played 1 hour and will probably never play again...

When I bought and started playing the came, I found it overwhelming with content...
Few hours into to game however, I knew what to do and most of it was much fun.. still is however after so many hours the repetitiveness starts to get a bid tedious... but if your are 'complete 100%' type of person, this game will be a challenge to you. I recommend this to 99% of players.

Good perk system, nice locations, however not many different enemies.

It has been so many years and still I come back to this game.
It is totally worth every penny.
