Ton of fun.

Update 3/1/25: Finally found functionality in running the game in debug mode, which otherwise does not change the performance of the game or storyline. So, yay, game works consistently again!

I really, really want to give this game 5 stars. It *would* be a 5 star game... if it worked. Having to hard shut down your PC after it completely freezes your OS multiple times just to hopefully get it to run is atrocious. The Devs doing nothing about it because they're focused on their new game launch is just garbage. Their offered solutions don't work, they won't go and figure out what's actually causing the issue, and there's no transparency about if they're even looking into it at all for an actual fix. Check the Steam Discussions if you don't believe me.

Anyway - as for the actual game: It's a really, really great survival game. Like top of it's class. Difficult and fun. That's why it absolutely sucks that the Devs aren't making it functional. I looooove this game. The health and sanity system is inventive, unique and super enjoyable. I could and have spent hours upon hours playing just because it's so immersive. Graphics are gorgeous.

I'll switch this review to recommended as soon as the Devs actually communicate about a plan to fix the functionality. Until then, don't buy the game.
