Unplayable due to their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers

More of an Early Access title. The gameplay is absolutely fantastic but outside of leveling your characters there is no end game content at launch.

The game is monetized like a free to play game.

Campaign: essentially an 8 hour game with the open world element added to pad playtime/make the grappling hook not break the game entirely. Fun, but not worth $60, especially without co-op

Multiplayer: While they've nailed the secret for the halo sauce for the first time in years, the lack of maps or real playlists has made it stale after just a couple weeks. The aggressive monetization means there is little to no free or meaningful customization of your character, which was a halo staple. Combined with laggy/desynced servers, the MP is a mess that can jump from ridiculously fun to down right infuriating.

OVERALL: a 6/10, that might have potential when they add co-op in 6 months and actually release a full game
