Thoughts:
It's not like hearthstone! (not a total hearthstone ripoff) there's one extra game mechanic that makes it different than hearthstone the evolving system.

+Adorable and cute (the hearthstone for anime lovers lmao)
+Has a story mode with likable typical characters
+leader references from other anime-like franchises (rage of bahamut, grandblue fantasy)
+Can buy some leaders for free
+Can easily copy decks with deck codes
+really beginner friendly card pack wise, you get 30+packs for just playing and usually get about 1 legendary every 5 packs
+fair amount of legendary cards=easy vials to craft specfic legendaries and cards you want

-DAMN HARD AIs (its kind of ridiculous how hard some of the story mode chapters are but apparently there are certain decks you can search up to easily handle the AIs)
-can't buy pre-built decks and certain items with coins (buy gems with real money)
-terrible english translations (the text completely does not match the japanese VA and is in fact even misleading at some points in the story, even I can translate it better)
-don't try ranked matches(you'll get rekt badly DX ranked match is not friendly but on the plus side you'll see some pretty cool leaders and scary combos)
-emotes kinda aren't enough and not what ya want exactly and there's a limit to how much you can spam them

Honestly my main rant is the translations, the translations are crap, sometimes they don't make sense and if you're someone who does not understand Japanese you probably wouldn't notice or skipping the dialogue or speed reading it faster than the VA. If you're someone like me who likes to hear Japanese and watching the cutscenes with english subs like you would on an anime you'll easily notice that the voices don't line up with the subs. I'm legit sad, f*** their disclaimer in the language option, "The meaning of the dialogue may not always match up if different languages are set for text and voice". Why couldn't they have made another option for "English for Japanese Voice" option TwT.

Otherwise this is a casual trading card game (if you play it casually). Just have fun with it like you do on hearthstone or any other card game you've played. Don't like card games or cute art with substandard typical story plot? This probably ain't for ya. Competitive? Good luck, it'll take you a long while to start amassing a meta combo deck to last in ranked matches. (Them combos be brutal orz *has become traumatized* )
