Pros:
-Game borrows heavily from the Elder Scrolls, but more Oblivion than Skyrim.
-Game world and artwork looks very... World of Warcraft. In a good way.
-Haven't run into any glitches or bugs so far in 12 hrs of gameplay.
-Combat is very fun. It plays more like an 3rd person action game than a WRPG. No clunky, robotic hacking here.
-I've barely scratched the surface so far. There is a lot of depth and replayability. Just looking at the world map and seeing how much of it I've explored, there is easily 60 hours of gameplay in one playthrough, and that may be a conservative estimate.
-Leveling up and specializing your character is rewarding and gives a sense of accomplishment.
-Powerful equipment is plentiful and available early. Your character will be a badass outfitted with awesome gear, and you won't need to be level 50 with 5 runs through an end boss to get there.
-The game does a good job of introducing you to core gameplay mechanics without being too intrusive.

Cons:
-Your inventory is always going to be filled with clutter. I've found there is a distinct lack of any storage space. You'll be traveling back to town to sell all of your stash quite often.
-More fantasy tropes than you can shake a stick at. The Fae, an elf-like race of immortals, are unbearable sometimes. You'll see what I mean. The story is a little predictable.
-Traveling around the map can be a chore. The world is chock-full of mundane enemies you've already killed dozens of times. Thankfully there is a fast travel option once you have discovered a location already.

Overall: Metacritic rating of 81 is a little undervalued. I give it a solid 8.5/10. If it had a bigger name attached to it like Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age the critics would be raving about this one.
