If you like Ace Attorney then you'll like this.

Note: I played after the 2.0 update drop, and didn't see any of the characterization issues that people complain about in the pre-2.0 version.

This game is a mess. This might have the worst UI I've ever seen. Co-op is not seamless, you have to choose to accept a cutscene every time anyone in your party does anything, and you have a timer that counts down before you can't accept anymore, but to accept you need to hold the button, which doesn't stop the count down timer. Most of the time accepting within the time limit still doesn't put you in the cutscene. Cutscenes can be skipped by one player, causing combat to start while the others are still in the cutscene. Way to many interactions require you to hold buttons to do anything. You have to manually adjust your missions to be the same as the rest of the party's.

Game is not properly detecting my dualshock. Tired of games not just giving the player the option to use whatever controller glyphs they want.

Censorship bad

This isn't a free game nor a free DLC. There should be zero content that was obviously made in conjunction with this paid DLC gated behind twitch drops.

Paid for season pass up front expecting it to be a deal as is typical of season passes. By the time the content is fully accessible the price is significantly cheaper. Bad.

Edit: They did it. It took forever, but they did it.

It's good. I hope the roguelike aspects of the sequel don't turn me off, because this is probably my favorite monster collecting game.
