I could only bare to play this game for 45 minutes, half of those 45 minutes were cinematic cutscenes. Short ones. Appearing every 2 minutes. Taking you out of the experience. Also the first mission which seemed to be open world (at last), turned out to fail as soon as I left the watchtower without doing something the devs wanted me to.

Fun with friends if you like a little slow paced exploration with occaisional "high action moments".

If you're a fan of RPG titles, then you'll like this game. The boys behind the Fallout IP have made a great game worth playing.

EDIT: Still Great

Probably the most replayable VR game I own. Worth the money. It's fun. Need to spend a few hours to get the hang of it. Was able to play all songs on Hard after 1-2 hours. First song completed at Expert after ~5 hours.

A great successor to the first game in the series. Once again pushing the envelope.

3 major faults of the game;
- All automatic rifles are basically laser guns, add some real recoil to the game, with learnable patterns to emphasize skill
- Shotguns might be too overpowered in CQC
- Characters screaming random stuff during the game revealing enemy (and your own) position. The game should rely on listening for footsteps, not random yelling like RELOADING, if a player wants to let their team know that they are reloading, use voice comm.

A very slowly pased game that will have you at the edge of your seat at times, although for short periods of time. The main problem with this game/story is it's severly dissapointing end. Slow pace (which can be good, but the fact that it never picks up the pace is a little annoying).

SPOLERS:
Along the way you pick up a camera from a backpack lost by someone else. You'd figure that you would need the camera for something, but I didn't give it much thought. At the games point of no return (and the supporting character litterally telling you "I don't know, maybe you should take some pictures..", you'd figure that you need pictures of the dead boy and the dad's hideout (I warned you about spoilers). So I wandered back to the boy's death site before going to the EVAC helicopter to snag pictures of that. When the game then reached it's end, the pictures are used for nothing, you don't find out what happens between you and your alzheimer's diseased wife, you and delilah, the dad and his dead son and you don't even use the pictures for ANYTHING. You'd think the pictures would be used to prove Delilah's and your own innosence in the boys death and at least find out what happens between you and Delilah or the dad, but no, the game just ends with no answers to any questions.

TL;DR: Severely dissapointing end, which will leave you with wishing you never bought the game

Early Access Review
Even though this game is still Early Access, I keep coming back to it with every update. It keeps getting better and better, and even though it still has some improving to be done. Although I can't wait for story mode, as it will without a doubt be good. This is definetly a game well worth the money.
