I heard from a friend that Vanripper has released a second game, and I immediately decided to try it out. I’m already 75 minutes in, currently tackling the 9th level on hard mode after initially completing the game on normal. Frankly, I think Vanripper has done an excellent job.

During the first ~10 minutes, I wasn’t sure if the game was as good as Helltaker. It was a bit difficult to understand what I was supposed to do at first. However, as I progressed through the levels, I gradually figured out a few things that made the gameplay much easier, and I quickly became hooked by the story.

I can definitely recommend the game, especially considering it costs literally nothing. Even though I plan to fully complete the game on hard mode, I’ll probably buy the artbook when I have the money because the game is just that enjoyable.
