At work thinking about Battletech, legit excited to manage my space finances 💰👍✨

Battletech is made for boring adults & I love it. Gotta take on mech jobs to pay my space bills so I can maintain my spaceship and feed my space crew and pay them their space allowances. Battletech just need to introduce an Excel simulator & it'll hands down be GAME OF THE YEAR

I'm not even good at managing my space bills (just like in real life) and it's still just so ding dong dang fun.

Until there's proper stable controller support I wouldn't recommend this game. I've spent all of my time trying to find work around to get Steam/DW9 to recognize my controller or fussing over keybindings. Playing DW9 with your keyboard is honestly unbearable, especially because I can't combine keys to do multiple functions. For example something like shift+Q ir ctrl+W to minimize the number of keys I have to bind.

Otherwise, what little I've played, graphics wise things look nice. I had to put everything on high though because anything less than that looks really bad. Clothing details and other features just get muddied. So I can see why people with a PC that can't support the higher graphic settings might be unhappy with the graphics. If you can play at max it's not so bad though.

English voice acting is disappointing, I think it's mostly because I liked the old cast much better from prior games more than anything else.

Anyway, it's just frustrating that I can't even beat the first scenario because it's just so clunky without a controller. I'll keep an eye on patch updates to see if they implement controller support but until then I don't think I will be playing DW9.
