I highly recommend this game but this comes with an asterisk (*) and that modding is required.

The base game (without mods) is very plain. The base content is decent and there is quite a bit you get with the game however without a dedicated map creator, online ranked leaderboards or any form of importing custom maps combined with the constant release of map packs, it's very clear the devs care more about making money than creating a VR version of OSU!.

This is where the mods come in! While being stuck on 1.29 version of the game, the community has done a lot to make beatsaber into a competitive rhythm game like OSU! where you have great online ranked communities, massive selection of custom maps and so much community made content that it really highlights how much of a let down it is to not have this in the base game.

Overall, if you're not going to take the time to mod the game, it may not be worth it. Don't get me wrong, the game is really fun but it's the online community and custom content that has allowed me to have the amount of playtime I currently have.

I really enjoy the cute art style and the conversations with the other NPCs. Everyone has so much character and it's great to see. The game is a little slow to get started and there are still a few bugs around but it's only Early Access so hopefully the creators can tidy the game up more before release.

I went into the game expecting it to be more like Stardew Valley with potions and while that wasn't the experience I got, I've still really enjoyed what the game has offered and think it's better the way it is then what I was expecting

It's a nice fun party game. Only played single player so far and I have enjoyed what I have played so far

This game is amazing. While it can be tricky when you first pick it up, being able to power through the challenges to reach new goals is the most rewarding part of the game. It's one of those games where you learning by failing and evolving your idea based on what went wrong and having the ability to revert everything that just happened means you can really experiment without risk.

The game always has me on the edge of my seat as I never know if what I made will work or not. If you like blowing stuff up, trying to solve a challenge or really like space, I would highly recommend giving this game a try :D

It's a very fun simulator game and the fact that the DLC just extends the play time for completion is great. Only explored 11% of the map so for and I'm really enjoying how the game plays even with a game pad controller

Great game to mess around with. Physics don’t make sense all the time but does make some great game play none the less
