if played a gacha game before then forget it, think of this game as a live service subscription based game, while yes its free, the amount of stuff if bought the bp every 4 month and willing to grind, u can get most if not all the id.

the game itself can be played like a week/ 2 week per story update assuming its updated every 1/1.5 month if you are only here for the story and music, the story is fantastic imo except for the first 2 introduction canto, it went uphill each canto released and hopefully it will keep doing that.

all in all, try it, atleast try until canto 3 story end and if u like the cast and the story told by PM, you will have enjoyable and painful ride.

its like xcom, but instead of generic troop, u play as somekind of ragtag fighter, and each of them have unique playstyle that u can costumize
