The game is good. And, maybe more importantly, it doesn't inject a bunch of randomness to try and get you addicted to rolling for things.

I've got a lot of time in Cities: Skylines 1 and I was hoping that we'd be getting a multithreaded version of that. We've gotten a lot more than that, good changes and bad.

Unfortunately those changes don't really matter; the simulation of the game is fundamentally broken right now. There are good changes happening in patches and mods are already getting started to fix the most egregious issues.

Ultimately this game is a wait-and-see. Consider Skylines 1 with mods. I'll update this review as (and if) they fix the game.

It's a fun time. Though unfortunately you'll need to ignore the weapon crafting system to keep it that way.

Not everyone will like this game. But I do. I like it a lot.

If you've ever felt satisfaction when organizing things, or fixing something, or setting something up, this game is for you.
It's also got extensive mod support, so if it's not quite tickling your pickle you can find a mod to make it.
