As I played I thought "Wow, this game feels refreshing yet nostalgic" and that feeling only grew as I continued to play. Then, I discovered the map creator tools built into the game and it really creates a tremendous amount of replay-ability for the whole game. I'm excited to go forward into this game. Truly, it's a labor of love.

Let's just clear up some things, the majority of bad reviews cite things that are not uncommon for games in general. Those things are made out to be momentous, but they really aren't.

The game itself is really fun. Scratches a lot of itches. It reminds me of the MMO Defiance, mixed with Fallout 76, and with a dash of...fortnite maybe? Either way, it's a really good time.

The downsides are that the game feels extremely easy. Not sure if pvp is supposed to be the difficult part, but I shouldn't need to fight other players to encounter a challenge. That, and often the servers can be noticeably laggy, but I'll give that time.

All in all, I've enjoyed my time so far and I plan to dump more hours into it. I'd give it a solid 78/100.

But that didn't change anything in the long run

Definitely a passion project. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the vehicles handle beautifully. It's made using SYNTY low poly assets, but an inability to 3d model definitely isn't indicative of an inability to program. The dev really has put a lot of effort into the game and it shows.

Solid 8.5/10. Would recommend.

It's been said that this is Pokemon with guns, but it's honestly more like Ark with aspects of Pokemon. It's a well-rounded experience and harkens back to a time when games were fun for the sake of fun. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But it's more complete than most AAA titles, and at half the price.
