Just fought a perilous 2 hour long tug of war, a fight over prosperous land soon to be overtaken by the horrors of a frontline.
When it started there were fields dotted with trees, beautiful hills and green as far as the eye could see.
By the end it was a ruined land of collapsed trenches, oil-thickened mud and iron... Unrecognizable from the land it once was.
By the end we didn't remember what we were even fighting for, just that we knew we had to eradicate the enemy at any cost.
By the end casualties were in the tens of thousands, heroes were born and died that same day...

Today will be remembered. This battle was hell, yet it was taxing for both sides. Despite the losses, and the ones we never recovered the bodies of, we must continue to push forward, none more of our cities, our homes, deserve to be turned into that waste.

hella fun game, well made for a tech demo, and keep forgetting it even is one at times.
really fun to just hop into a wasteland server with some buddies and ♥♥♥♥ around and stuff and sometimes even get more invested in some Vietnam servers and such, no matter what you're looking for, a faster paced messing around, or more tactical teamwork based gameplay, there's just about anything. really really fun, coming from kinda no-lifing arma 3 for a while, I can confidently say that this is a good step up from that, and I can't wait for BI's next release.

the day this game has a warlords mode is the day I fully play this instead of arma 3

played almost the entirety of the Spec Ops last night with a friend that gifted me it and ohhhh my god I missed this (I feel old now)

barely played it yet but oh my god the gunfights are actually scary now I had to hide behind some run down jeep for like 10 seconds before getting a chance to fire back because the enemies are actually accurate in this game compared to ITR 1 lmao
overall I'm loving it so far, one gripe is the rustic vibe isn't there as much with the more modern base, PDA and accessories but that's just me, it's still amazing.

use the Eldergleam modpack[www.nexusmods.com] and Lossless Scaling to boost frames to double and thank me later.
(I had an average of 40FPS before using LSFG with a 3060 and i7-9700 but now it's running like a dream)

legit just doesn't launch into VR and does not work, even when multiple workarounds are applied.

having a lot of fun so far, gonna try to get some friends to join me on it and see how the coop fares, but this game has some real solid combat and general gameplay ngl, really fun.
