for starters, i am a type of person who played a lot of liminal spaces since i got obsessed with it, my friends can testify to this obsession and poolrooms are my favourite. Also i love walking sims, i often got lost in walking sims and just make myself feel like i'm inside the game instead of like panicking and that will be an outstanding experience to me!

When i first stumble upon dreamcore, i was amazed because i didn't expect it to have the pool as starter stage cause i got used to people making backrooms (which is getting so stagnant as we speak) and the pool stage during demo of this game was great! (i got like 6-7 hrs at the demo only because i work in an 8 hr job and i do other stuff for living) and i was like "i wish this one was longer" and NEW MAP during demo, it was also great but felt easier to me but still great!

ok game is finally launch all i can say is

poolrooms it triggered another fear and dread that i didn't expect for me to actually got triggered of it and it was the large dark poolrooms. i thought i should expect of it due to my experience in demo but the new areas of the poolroom, where it was really dark, and the room is pretty big and the red walls on the basement adds up to the dread feeling i have that i didn't know i will actually experience. one thing that i criticize personally in demo was the weird wind sound while running that actually annoyed me to death but i'm glad it was minimized in here.
one of the thing i also criticize was the VHS filter was a bit too much, i don't know if they toned it down in here but the option of giving us to turn it on and off is appreciated tho i keep it on cause the game without the filter felt weird to me. One thing i hope that was considered by the dev was making the walking a bit faster when you hold the shift button while on water, while i appreciate to keep it realistic by slowing down on water, the scale of the area made walking while on the water felt like the walking became a chore and was numbing me down. but it is fine, just a bit of a nitpick to me

overall a very very welcoming and nice experience. maybe my fave poolroom experience so far in my gaming years!

Suburbia while my expectation to the suburbia was lower than poolrooms, the suburbia manage ro blew my mind for how it has extended to the higher degree. i love the new additional stages of the suburbia and one thing i love on this stage is the introduction of the day/night cycle that made the experience so much better! the house interior tho was made weird for purpose of course but i wish that there are more realistic approach on it or more furniture on some random places for added immersion but i think for now it's definitely fine!
One thing i love about the suburbia is how the colours of the entire stage feels so nostalgic and welcoming at the same time. but one thing tho. i think the final stage of suburbia where you had to go inside on some houses definitely need a flashlight cause sometimes they can go really dark to the point you cannot see and you are just trying to guess where you are, it was going to be really confusing to the other players. i kinda manage to work around on it by pure luck but i think you should at least introduce flashlight to the final part of suburbia but that is just my nitpick.

overall another welcoming experience! i would love to replay this stage again despite being bias to poolrooms!

i am excited to see more of this game as the game goes on! and i hope there is at least a bit of an environment storytelling it has as much as i want to just travel, which i think it was deliver in a subtle way in here but i'm still interested on how the environment storytelling of this game goes! and i hope, and i do really hope, this wont turn into another game in a pile of an ongoing stagnant-ization of the liminal space games because i would be very very disappointed if that happens.

leemenal spes my beloved (i just forgot to drop a review after i finish this game)

really neat game for a something that is free and accessible to majority, altho this is a kane inspired one, this still manage to have its own originality and the way the dread feeling was executed in an area that you know nothing will happen is a good example of liminal horror i've been searching for long!

looking forward to the new complex (aside to expedition of course!)

[will edit the review once the full game was released]

neat and looks promising so far. tho while i like the environment design, i think the graphics choice was kinda so-so for me in terms of vibe. but i wont judge harshly until i got the full game. i think the duck collecting mechanics was a bit goofy but i can let it slide cause it seems related to the plot, which was really intriguing

looking forward to this game! as i've been finding a game like this that can fill the void of me wanting to play more NaissanceE-type environment games

You like well written plot? you came to the right game!
Enjoy fast-paced shooting game? this is a great try!
Enjoy killing cyborg and robot nazi? also a great try!
you like brutalism? you might probably be interested of the environment design
want to see cool ahh technology from the ancients? give it a try!

regardless, nice game to try. some levels might required you to turn on your brain before you shoot but if you are really good at conserving ammo, you are good to go!

very odd anomaly type game for sure but god forbid babies making weird sound in this game always jump scare me and its not even in a positive way. anyways, pretty unique, very short, maybe to compensate the lack of save points on game, don't let the premise of the game fool you about the length of this game cause you can literally finish this in one sitting and it would be i think easier and faster for you if you have a good eye and memorization skill and you pay attention a lot to the environment.

also has a very cool liminal space-potential environment

you can still try it tho if you like to challenge your mind probably, practice your attention and memorization span but dont expect some kind of overarching plot if you like story-driven games

i love the art style of the game and how it constantly getting messed up at the close end or other half. something about the way the ink were utilized in the story was very unique and fascinating, and somehow, justified the art style of the game

but if you are going here, expecting this to be at least similar to bad dream coma, you might be a little bit disappointed, but i suggest to go play this game without some expectations. i think the story of this game wasn't really extraordinary or such but the way the concept was executed, like what i said earlier, at least justified the art style of the game itself. and the way the plague masked lady is somehow related to the first game, is something i didnt really expect and i find it neat

i think its worth of a shot and it has a couple of scary scenes and probably mind♥♥♥♥ sequences. also if you are an artist or a game dev or a writer, i suggest to pick up the game and give it a shot!

honestly a pretty neat puzzle game that may or may not taken inspired from either superliminal or liminal gallery. the graphics are gorgeous. i really love how the concept of photography putting in real environment was more enhanced and more trippy that made some of the moments really spectacular specially with the addition of the different filters and type of medium introduced within the game. i like how every stage you were introduced to different things and mechanics that it makes every chapter feel special and new and fresh and applied all of it to the last major time based puzzle event

while i think the story is really neat, i think there is a room of improvement to it cause i feel like the last part of the story was a bit rushed that made the build up in the first 3 chapters quite unrewarding atleast. but i think the story was pretty neat on its own.i just feel like there should be something more to it and some questions left unanswered. the ending while being slightly rushed, feels really rewarding.

if you like superliminal, liminal gallery, or even the concept of interior worlds, i think you can give this game a shot! specially if you like the puzzle aspects of those games. truly worth it

neat walking simulator, can get really confusing at first but the atmosphere of the game is so well done it immerse you to the peace and the horror behind the peace and the eerie feeling of loneliness and being alone in where you are, which is very creative considering the entire game was set within a few perimeter of the building and its neighbor small structure. tho if you don't really appreciate liminal space games, you might not appreciate the beauty of the atmosphere of this game

one thing i want to note is how the walking speed of the protagonist is really slow for a walking sim and feels really heavy. other than that, due to the time you might spend in playing this one, i suggest to wait for sale
