A delightfully clever immersive sim and a breath of fresh air for the genre as a whole. It may not be the prettiest immersive sim, but it more than makes up for that with the care and intelligence put into its design. If you are a fan of the genre and looking for an immersive sim that will continuously surprise you with what shenanigans it will let you pull to solve its puzzles and challenges, Ctrl Alt Ego is for you.

It took half an hour, but it is done. I've finished the game. I've reached enlightenment. But worry not, I will not spoil it's ending, no, I believe all must experience this game, no, this piece of art.

I had played many games, I've searched far and wide for that one perfect game, that game that feels just right, not too fast, not too slow, not too set in one genre, but not too far from anything you're used to, the perfect game. This is it. I was wandering through steam's games, my life dull and empty, my mind unenlightened when I saw it, the loading simulator. Now, after grass simulator, I had a sour taste in my mouth for simulation games, but this one, I could tell this one was different. I started, unsure of myself, but I felt comfort when I bought the first upgrade, the new age effects telling me that I was on the right path. Then I purchased the music, oh the music, how can I describe it? The soundtrack of this game will bring you to tears, bring purpose to your life, and encourage you for you to do your best in not just this game, but in life itself. Yes, this game has a practical, real life message to send to all. Many assumed that our dear friend who gifted us this glorious new art form was a typical joker. Oh how wrong they were, for he is a prophet. I will not detail it here, but this game has various messages to send, be it on the meaning of life, everyday interactions, even the existance of a higher force, the question of an omnificent being. As we speak, philosophers around the world are pondering this piece of art's meaning, it's implications, and the historical impact it will leave in the future. Already, rumors of "Loadingosophy" are being spread, that this game will become offically recognized by academic philosophers, I can only pray that some day, this will be true.

Now you can see why I love this game so, and how I firmly believe all should play and learn from this masterpiece. It is a shame I can only recommend this game positively, as, if steam allowed it, I would set my steam profile to redirect any viewers to the store page of this game. But sadly, I can only recommend this game to those willing to seek salvation from the uninformed life without it. Thank you for your time.
