Early Access Review
Z.O.N.A Origin:
Pros:
Z.O.N.A Origin def has some improvements over its predecessor, Project X. The open world is visually captivating and fits the post-apocalyptic atmosphere very well. Aswell as NPC quest givers.

Atmospheric World: The game successfully creates an immersive world, enhancing the player's experience.

Cons:
Baby Hands: Similar to Project X, Z.O.N.A Origin suffers from the "baby hands" issue, where character hands appear unusually small, especially noticeable when picking up weapons like the Desert Eagle (DE).

Oil Smeared Screen Effect: The game has an oil smeared screen effect that detracts from the overall visual quality.

Shaky Hands When Aiming: Aiming in the game is challenging due to very shaky hands. Implementing a stabilization feature, like holding the left trigger to steady aim, would significantly improve the gameplay experience.

Weapon Size Discrepancy: There's a noticeable size discrepancy between weapons, with the Desert Eagle appearing smaller than the Makarov, which breaks immersion.

Visual Quality Issues: Despite attempts to adjust settings, the game struggles to maintain a consistent and good image quality, making it hard to enjoy the visuals fully.

Conclusion:
Z.O.N.A Origin shows promise with its atmospheric world and improvements over Project X. However, it still needs significant work to address persistent issues like "small hands," visual effects, and aiming stability. While the game has potential, it currently requires more refinement to offer a fully immersive and visually pleasing experience.

I can't wait to see what this dev does as they did great with updates with Project X
I do recommend this game if you don't mind waiting & supporting the dev.
Also if you like Project X or the mobile games get it otherwise maybe wait till 1.0
I will re-review when 1.0 comes out.

Positives

Amazing game with a moving story.
Guns feel great, especially the crossbow and shotgun! <3
Rich story-building through environmental exploration.
Monsters have fantastic designs.

Cons

Some textures look rough, even on Ultra/Very High settings.
Could use more monster variety.
More weapon customization would be great—upgrades beyond just skins.
A rogue-like mode could add exciting replay value.
New Game +?

I'll prob add more, I'm almost done with my Hardcore play-through.

This remake of Arizona Sunshine is easily the best version of any game in the series. I can’t help but wish they’d create a shooter in the vein of After The Fall set in this universe or timeline.

The graphics are stunning, and while the gameplay doesn’t quite reach the level of Half-Life: Alyx, something I hold as a benchmark for first-party games it’s still immensely enjoyable in its own right. Given that Alyx is over four years old now, it sets a high standard, but Arizona Sunshine delivers plenty of fun!

The performance is solid for the most part; however, I noticed some dips when entering darker sections of the game. Running on an RTX 3080 and a Quest 3 at high resolution, I experienced frame drops from 90Hz to around 40Hz whenever shadows or fog were involved.

If you appreciate beautiful vistas, a decent amount of gore, and engaging gunplay, this game is definitely worth picking up. The developers have carefully revamped every aspect of the original, ensuring it shines with today’s technology. Not only is this a fantastic game, but it also makes me excited for the upcoming Metro game from this studio next month!

I’m enjoying this more than many other Left 4 Dead clones. With the addition of skill trees and plans for even more features, I’m excited about the future of Darktide and its long-term potential. If you're a fan of Warhammer 40K or L4D-style games, this is definitely worth checking out!

Lossless scaling has been a fantastic and valuable tool for individuals like me, who own a 3080. It transforms certain games from a stuttering mess on ultra settings to a smooth 120 FPS experience. While I could optimize the game for 120 FPS without this app, it would require sacrificing graphics for fluidity. The developer's consistent updates have significantly enhanced its performance over time. The app's price could more accurately reflect its capabilities. A cost of $20 would be a fair solution, providing better support for the developer. If sales don't increase, an additional support option would be appreciated. Thank you for this amazing app!

Killing Floor: Incursion offers an intense zombie-shooting experience, but it falls short as a true Killing Floor game. If you and a couple of friends are eager to mow down hordes of undead in cooperative play, give it a try

I'm still playing and have more time in the game than stated due to a bug with Virtual Desktop. The main thing I want to say at this point is to give the game more time than just playing the tutorial. It's not as bad as most people are saying here. I received a key because I owned a failed game from Joyway, and I do acknowledge the bugs in this game. I've fallen through buildings while trying to grab a ledge. The gunplay is pretty fun, as well as the parkour. However, the AI can be really dumb. The story is quite odd and bland, and the AI voice talent hurts the overall perspective of the game. Despite this, I've had fun with the game, as it has some great fights and levels. On the other hand, it's ruined by horrible level design and AI. I hate being torn on games, and this love-hate relationship will probably continue until the developers fix some bugs. Don't just listen to me or others—try it for yourself and don't rely solely on other people's opinions. I wish good luck to the Dev team hope they can turn it around, but why would they cater to a community that is so negative.. I will recommend this due to me having a pretty good time in it but id say its a 6/10 experience.
