Great game for the price. Now here's an idea devs: add a 2nd game mode not tied to the story and meta progression with an endless climb and upgrades and weapons unlocked on a per-run basis in order to make the game more replayable, it has huge potential.

Early Access Review
If you're intimidated by games not holding your hand trough out the entire playtrough, this is not the game for you, at least not in the current state. There's a lot of trial and error, learning over multiple playtroughs, maybe even watching some youtube videos by more advanced players to learn certain things.

If this doesn't bother you, then the game is excellent.

A great hospital manager for those that want a more serious take on the matter. Constantly improved and with great DLC being added that is actually super worth the DLC price, i mean come on these are cheap!

This game has a good foundation, but it seems to lack depth that would make it a title that you can enjoy for hundreds of hours. Yes, you can play as any nation in the world, but the only ones that have received some personal touch and flavour are those that are suggested to you as a starting country.

The war mechanic is not well explained and i still fail to understand why the enemy army is getting bonuses as a defender if they're not performing a defensive operation or even what some of the icons mean, there are hardly any tooltips in the game explaining stuff like that. Having a superior army in terms of technology doesn't seem to reflect the outcome of battles as much as I would expect it to either. Also, if a certain peace deal says that it requires a certain ammount of war score why does the AI not accept your deal when you have the required warscore? Certainly don't expect war to be as in depth as EU4.

Trying to expand the diplomatic way ( creating your own bloc and integrating ) is done in a pretty shallow way as well, all it comes down to is keeping relations high and passing enough bloc policies. As a bigger country you can integrate smaller countries that way quite effectively but it is just such a boring way to do it. It cound be a system that if expanded and reworked a bit could be a relly interesting mechanic.

Oh, there seems to be no way to have a military alliance or at least a defensive alliance outside of being in a bloc? That's kind of a bummer.

The UI could really use some love as well.

All in all, the game isn't bad, and if you can buy it on a good sale I'd say go for it if you're a fan of these type of games. But there's certainly a lot that could be done to make the game better.

Review adjusted post fix to online issues.

Amazing game. There's not much as entertaining as killing huge monsters with your friends. Combat feels great. If you're playing with m+kb you'll likely have to adjust a few controls but it's decent. Getting trough the story is just a beginning, the end-game grind is real.

Highly recommended if you can get it on a good deal. Personally i got it with the 70% off and it definitely was worth the money.

Game with great potential, sadly abandoned by the developer. It's still fun and worth a shot if you can get a good deal, but just expect that whatever issues the game has are never going to be fixed.

It's an incredibly addicting fun little game. I do see a few flaws with how things are designed, like the meal upgrade prices needing hundreds of sales of that particular meal to make the money back while not really giving you any benefit aside from the slightly increased price at the cost of more complicated orders, or the fact that you can cruise on easy meals and score the perfect day bonus and come out ahead compared to having 6 fairly complicated meals on your menu and not getting a perfect day because well, the meals are complicated and you're prone to making at least 1 mistake.

Despite that I still recommend this game, especially if you find it on a sale!
