Another CCG (Collectible Card Game) for video gamers to sink their teeth into. Although I personally prefer Hearthstone, Shadowverse has its own merits, and has slowly become the card game I fall back on when Hearthstone becomes just too much to bear. If you're looking for a new card game to play, try Shadowverse; it is fun, easy to learn, and quite addicting.

Notable points of Shadowverse:
- Heroes have 20 health, meaning games are generally faster.
- A deck can have up to three of the same card, including legendaries, which means expect more decks filled with legendary minions.
- A deck contains 40 cards, no more and no less.
- The take-two mode is similar to the arena of Hearthstone, except each draft contains four cards in sets of two, to which the player must choose which two cards to add to their deck. The player will play five games, and will get better rewards with more wins.
- Each player can have up to five cards on the board at a time.
- The evolve mechanic, which helps keep balance between the player that goes first and the player that goes second.
- Upon starting the game, new players will receive A LOT of help, as the story teaches the player the basics, rewards them heavily with card packs, individual cards, tokens, and coins, and is more generous with higher ranked cards.
- Very few spells can hit the player's face, and there are very few "charge" minions that can immediately attack the hero, meaning the game is much more control-based, requiring slower play-styles (aggro decks do exist, though).

Hmm... where to start?

Undertale has an amazing start and ending, with a great soundtrack backing it. One can rush through the game in less than six hours if they truly desired, but most players will probably take considerably longer, especially if they make certain decisions throughout their journey.

Go into this game blind, without any advice from others, make your own choices, and just enjoy the game. Don't look up solutions, don't read into the story, and learn everything as you go. Undertale becomes a much more enjoyable experience that way. If you want a happy ending, you'll have to earn it. If you want a challenge? Well... you'll find it eventually.

Conclusion: Just buy it already! Undertale is a great game, with quite a bit of replayability to be had. At $10 (less when on sale), this game is hard to pass up. It's one of the few games that I think just about all gamers should play. It has something for everyone. Overrated or not, you should at least give it a chance.

Just a final warning: Think carefully, for your choices DO matter. Oh, and by the way...

Stay determined...

I've watched people play it for the longest time... looked kinda fun, even though I tend to avoid such games.

First playthrough on default: 11 days.
2nd: 17days.
3rd: 29 days, holy sh-t Deerclops... I've played horror games that didn't make me panic so much!
4th: 58 days, Talibirds picked me off. I only wanted their eggs...

Everyday the player struggles to survive, always on the move, always doing SOMETHING to increase their odds of making it through the next night. Hounds, killer bees, spiders, werepigs, Merms, creatures like these make the night all the more nervewracking. And the farther you go in terms of days, and the more progress you make, the more on-edge you get, because eventually something is going to screw you up. Sometimes it isn't even the monsters that kill you, but stupid mistakes from experimenting with new items (*cough* boomerang) to forgetting to gather berries from your berry farm. It's very addicting, stressing and definitely fun to play. The urge to build the perfect base and test myself to live longer than last time forces me to keep on going.

Note: Buying the game now gives the player Don't Starve: Together when it exits early access for free. They can also purchase Don't Starve: Together for $5, get it early, and send a copy to a friend.

9.5/10, need to be able to make bridges!

If you liked the beta, then get it. For only $5, of which upon purchase the consumer gets $5 worth of points anyway, this game is a steal.

If you haven't played the game yet, try out the free version first here: http://www.blankmediagames.com/TownOfSalem/
