Pick up the base game when you can for a few bucks it's totally worth it still.

Great game worth picking up. I got mine from the Humble Choice. Original concept and very strategic.

After 500+ hours my go-to style has been run and gun, collect the hordes up and gun them down - Molotov cocktails are so much fun. Don't throw them in town though, try for a field.

Carpentry feels so rewarding in this game with the amount of customisation available to the player, after all this time i still haven't farmed for any food yet.

Don't want to play Vanilla and want to tinker with the world settings? Use sandbox mode, sometimes it's fun to have custom presets for a faster pace Zomboid run, or to make it even harder.

If you're looking for a very different style of Zombie-Survival, this is worth a buy. Its' fun alone and online, there is a large community to answer any questions for beginners as the game can seem very tough at the start, but once you learn some tricks it can get addicting.

Only buy this when it's heavily discounted I can only recommend it because it's good ol HOMM3 base game with HD touch-ups etc.
